One of our favourite places during our 4 week trip in East Africa. Loved the quiet relaxing atmosphere of the guesthouse. The meals they served were amazing. The food was plentiful and made with fresh ingredients. I loved how everyone ate together as it was really nice to talk to other travellers. The grounds were really nice and it was...

This is a gorgeous place, in a lovely setting with incredible staff. The food is also good, as is the communal-style dinner, which is thoroughly enjoyable. The only complaint is that some of the non self contained rooms need improvement, as they are a bit scruffy, cramped, and sometimes have more beds than needed. I'd recommend paying more (and booking...

When our reservation in another guesthouse was cancelled only 30min prior to our arrival in Fort Portal, Rwenzori View Guest House provided us last minute with a beautiful clean room with a large comfortable double bed plus balcony. The garden is colourful, quiet and full of beautiful plants as well as animals such as birds and chameleons. Breakfast and dinner...

We had such a wonderful stay, all thanks to Ineke and her staff. When we arrived, having not booked a room, Ineke informed us that all the rooms were booked, but she could recommended somewhere for us to stay. She also sat down with us for about an hour, offering us tea, and advised us where to stay for the...

After the noisy and crowded Fort Portal, we arrived to Rwenzori and it was like and island of peace and rest. Beautiful sunset, beautiful garden and lovely people working there. Dinner and breakfast was very good, and the big table invites to share experiences with other travellers. You can go with children, there's plenty of room for them. Just be...

great place to stay - staff and owner are very helpful and rooms are comfortable. We stayed here for a few nights as it's close to the Crater Lakes and Chimp Tracking. The dinner was so delicious and really nice atmosphere as other guest were very friendly.

A beautiful, homey setting with a communal feel that invites fellow travelers to meet and share stories (communal dining, etc.) and an affordable price. It has a wonderful gift store. Lovely location. It is a bit ramshackle in places and could use a facelift and better functionality in some areas but if you like rustic and cozy a good place...

After traveling through South and East Africa since 5 Months, the Ruwenzori View was one of the few places that truly felt like home! We planned to stay for two nights and ended up staying a week. They have a range of different rooms. We opted for a room in the small wood cabin, which have no ensuite toilets but...
