The location was perfect for what we wanted to do. While we did drive the second day, we were able to walk to Anakeesta to see the sights. The pizza place across the street was delicious! We found a place for breakfast while walking and saw some beautiful views we wouldn’t have if we’d just been in the car to reach our destinations. The room itself was a good size where the beds were and I like the window shade and lighting available. There was a plate of some kind (painted over but loose on the ceiling) that wasn’t very attractive and made it clear it was an older location. The bathroom was functional, however, the area where the toilet/bath was located was very small. All in all the room was fine for what we needed.

If you enjoy being woken up at 4:30 am by the sounds of a garbage truck emptying a couple of dumpsters, this is the place for you! While the rooms were equipped with a refrigerator and hair dryer and supplied with toiletries, to describe the rooms as basic would be a stretch. The beds were not particularly comfortable, the duvet was torn. Small sink that had a nin working plunger, so you would have to physically pull up the stopper so the sink could drain and a tiny bathroom. No ice maker on site and I can't figure out how they could provide room service as mentioned on their website. They are within walking distance to the main part of Gatlinburg and I think that's probably the best thing I can say about the place.

Great value. I would call it a good base of operations. It is not fancy but the staff is excellent. They make you feel welcome. The room is clean and has a mini fridge and microwave. Shower is good. It is not on the strip so not as much traffic. Close to everything. Unfortunately we did not see any bears walking through the parking lot. The only real complaint is that they are not good at answering phone calls. They have an answering system that does not allow for messages.

The owner at the front desk was super nice and helpful, he even came to the room and helped us get the TV connected. The room we were given was clean but had minor issues being no coffee maker, no hangers in the closet, no hand soap or bar soap, only provided two towels and two washcloths. With that said they did provide more towels if needed and they did give us two extra pillows and use the coffee maker in the lobby so not a huge deal. We ate at the pizzeria across the road and the pancake house just a small walk up the road as well as the salt and pepper shaker museum. The room had a good air conditioner and nice size tv. Good rates as well. Nice place to stay!

We stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Gatlinburg. The owners of the motel are very friendly and more than happy to help with anything they can. The room itself was very clean, spacious and offered us all the basic amenities we needed. Although the bathroom was small, the shower had great water pressure. The TV in the room has many built in apps such as Disney plus, Netflix, Prime etc as well as built in TV channels. There was a fridge and microwave in the room which was very handy. The motel is only a 5 minute walk from downtown which has plenty of places to eat and lots of activities, such as the aquarium and the sky-lift. The owner gave us lots of suggestions for things to do in the area, as well as a map. He was very knowledgable about the National Park and gave us some great routes to take. Housekeeping is offered every morning. We had a fantastic stay here and would definitely come back!

We enjoyed the very courteous people who attended to us during our stay in Gatlinburg. It is only .08 mile from the Skylift, and downtown shops. We were given good suggestions for activities and restaurants.

I don’t know how other sites can give it 4 stars but this is not a four star establishment. Tile floors are visibly dirty(gross, we put towels down as to not to walk on it) broken hangers left in the room, no coffee or cups and a pretty long walk into Gatlinburg if you wanted to walk. I would not recommend this hotel.

What a wonderful surprise we found in The Gatlinburg Mountain Inn!! The management crew were absolutely on the ball! They were very friendly and informative on local things to do and places to eat and so helpful when our car battery died. The rooms were very clean and cozy, totally redone and it’s only a short walk to town so you will save on parking. Reasonable rates and down to earth, friendly people! We will definitely be coming back to stay :)
