We visited in the off season in October. Quite busy. I was surprised at how many people were there. There is a quiet area with no lake view and a lake view that backs up to a busy road. You would need reservations most of the time. Clean bathroom.

This is a nice clean campground that offers full hookup sites for RVs and other areas for tents. The sites are shady, wide, long, clean and well kept. We had a 50amp hookup. The beach is next to the park, there is a baseball field and the small town is just a short stroll away. The park is very popular...

The facilities were great and kept clean. The guests were quiet and friendly and the view is mind-blowing. We loved the hiking trails and how close it was to town. The staff was helpful. This was a great visit and we plan to make it a yearly event!

We like to do Fishermans picnic every year but considering stopping or doing a hotel. Every year for the past few years it has been very loud in the campground all hours of the night. This year the neighboring overcrowded sites came back from bars and partied till 6am with lots of bad language. This used to be such a...

This is a nice campground, with a great view. Close enough to walk into town if you don't have a vehicle., Friendly Staff, seemed very helpful. Camp sites are some what close together, but that's typical in campgrounds. Our site was near bathhouse 4, which was a nice clean bathroom with showers that were decent. There are other bathhouses, but...

We stayed at the Grand Marais Rec Park. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The park sits right on the shores of Lake Superior. It is a short walk to the town center. A variety of restaurants, local establishments and entertainment

We stayed two nights at this campground. It is right on the lake which was fun for the kids. We could easily walk to the local businesses and Artists point. The campground is dog friendly (many dogs there).

The staff was kind & friendly from 1st point of contact to check out, the grounds were well cared for, the location was gorgeous right along Lake Superior, the cost...
