Several couples who like cross country skiing and snowshoeing spent a long weekend at Bearskin Lodge. We loved our cozy lodge rooms. All had beautiful lake views, ample space to gather at the end of our activity-filled days, and well-eqipped kitchens for fixing meals. And beautiful birds came to feed right outside our windows for our viewing enjoyment! Snowshoe trails...

Our group of 8 friends booked two lodge rooms over a long weekend. We were unanimously satisfied with our rooms, friendly and accommodating staff, snowshoeing and ski trails, hot tub amenities and overall Northwoods spirit. We prepared most meals in our rooms and were very pleased with the supply of dinnerware, cooking utensils, servers, pots and pans. Kudos and thanks...

We stayed in Cabin # 2, the smallest cabin, for our first-time visit to Bearskin Lodge. Loved it so much we have already reserved for next year! The log cabin was very cozy; furnace kept it plenty warm in 25 below zero weather. Bring your own groceries. The lodge also serves soup for lunch, beer, wine , & soft drinks,...

My husband and I booked a little get away to Bearskin lodge this winter. We had bee there one previous time in the fall but never during the winter season. We stayed in Cabin #10. The cabin was beautiful and very neat and clean which I appreciated. We had a great time reading, napping, and enjoying the fireplace. We went...

We just returned from a 3-night trip to Bearskin Lodge. This was our first time on the Gunflint, and we were so impressed! This resort is not only totally worth the drive from Mpls- it is also unlike anywhere else I've been. I had a hard time convincing my husband that we needed to make the extra effort to drive...

Our eighth year as guests with the best staff, the best accommodations and best scenery ever. This was our third year in Cabin number one in the bay area of the resort. Very nice quaint cabin--you can have it both ways here. It's so private, who would know that the cabin next to you, though, is just a stone's throw...

This lodge is pretty and peaceful. Almost all of the staff were friendly and accommodating. My friends and I camped and didn't stay in the lodge, but were told that we could rent kayaks and canoes through the business. The middle aged women that worked there was very rude and made it seem like we were a nuisance. At one...

All of us who own resorts adjacent to the Gunflint Trail national forest service campgrounds find that it can be difficult for campers to understand that our Lodge is not actually the campground public visitor center. Our mission is to serve our resort guests. We happily offer many of those services to the campers also, but one should not expect...

Service is always top notch and personable. We have been going to Bearskin since 1991 and love it. The cabins are clean, cozy, quiet and private. The view is spectacular. The drive up the Gunflint Trail is such a beautiful drive. Lots of wildlife! The peace and quiet is what we love most...Bearskin offers everything you need to relax and...

My husband has been camping near GM for about 40 years and has always wanted to stay at Bearskin. We decided to stay over Memorial Day weekend and it was wonderful. We got a good amount of rain but it didn't matter. We had a fantastic long weekend. We stayed in Cabin #2 and love it! The cabin was charming...

This was our 30th straight year of staying, always a great relaxing time. The skiing has been great, dog sled rides are nice. We prepared our meals which is a way of keeping expenses down. The kitchen has the basics, we bring special cooking items that are needed. The hot tub was a relaxing time after a day of xc skiing...
