We enjoyed our one-night stay very much. A bit tricky to find the marina. The hotel is nice and comfortable, and it's worth getting a room facing the water. We had breakfast at the buffet and it was reasonable for the price. We'd definitely recommend this spot and stay here again.
The scenery around this hotel at Lake Powell is beautiful. Depending on the lighting and time of day, the colours and mood can really change. The grounds are nicely maintained, and there are pools and outdoor fireplaces. Our room was comfortable and clean, but pretty far away from the check-in and restaurants. I expect that this place is packed in the summer, but we were there in the off-season when it was mostly empty. However, that did mean that a restaurant was closed for the season. However, the other two served good meals and drinks, with spectacular views. Don't forget to take a boat tour of Antelope and Navahoe canyons.
I enjoyed my stay Stunning view and combined with a Lake cruise made this a memorable time. A cruise through the canyon lake made it so memorable Un fortunately the restaurant was full on the first night but eventually got a place and enjoyed the meal and view.
I stayed at this property for two nights back in April of 2018 and it was 2 nights too long. You can't deny the great location, but the rooms are very outdated and the place is understaffed. The service was horrible as was the overall operation of the hotel. For example, they force everyone to check-in at the same time, which causes a long line and wasted time. Once night we went to one of the restaurants and we arrived 5 minutes before closing. No one addressed us, so I went to someone cleaning a table and said "We'd like a table for two please." "We're just about to close," was the reply. We then asked if we could get something to go, and reluctantly the bartender agreed to put in an order. When we got back to the room we noticed one of our items was missing. Rather than trying to fix the situation, they just said they would put a refund on our bill at check out, which never occurred. When we brought this up to the front desk, they didn't know anything about it, nor were they able to verify. This place caters to tour bus operators, so it can also be quite busy. They have a monopoly with the U.S. Government so they don't have to compete, which lowers the quality of service to everyone. I would highly recommend staying in Page and just driving to the lake each day, it's not worth staying here.
We recently stayed here for 2 nights. Our room on the 2nd floor (Building 6) overlooked Lake Powell. The room was comfortable and met our needs however, as we were to find out, it was the end of the tourist season and the staff were not that accommodating of our visit. We were told that the formal dining room/restaurant which we had hoped would be open for a nice dinner, was closed for the season. The breakfast facilities for guests like ourselves, was minimal at best. Toast, juice and coffee was all that was on offer and hot food non-existent. We managed to secure a spot on the boat cruise of Antelope Canyon and this was excellent, but it seems if you travel in late October/November, you can not be assured of interest or service from this resort. It is worth a visit but don't expect too much. Best to find alternative dining options in Page, Arizona.
