Had recent 3 night stay at Village inn at Apgar. Ideal location for west side day trips. Proximity to airport is perfect. While not a 5 star hotel the rooms are adequate, clean, good value and comfortable. As to the view of Lake McDonald and the mountains, there cannot be a much better setting.

Wow, am I sorry we stayed here only one night. Absolutely lovely, beautiful location in a peaceful, unassuming village. All the photos I saw on-line, all the descriptions read about this place, do not do it justice. We stayed on the second floor in a two bedroom unit with ample room for us to spread out. As it turned out,...

The Village Inn at Apgar was the second stop on our American road trip. My husband and I had a ground floor room with chairs outside to sit and just gaze in wonder at the sight of the lake and mountains.Parking was easy at the rear of the Inn. The room was cosy and very clean with coffee/tea machine.I loved...

This place is perfect location inside the GNP west side to see the lake and drive/hike.. The rooms are Rustic for sure but clear, comfortable and in a great location.. Don't expect 5 Star .. no TV , AC or Wi-Fi-but great staff great views - pure relaxation! If we ever get back to GNP we would stay there again.

Stayed here only one night (first) at the start of our GNP vacation. Was not expecting much till we reached our room on the second floor. Remember, these rooms have basically no amenities. No worries. Each room has two wood Adirondack chairs to sit and chill, which is what most people do at sunset and sunrise. Great photo opportunities from...

Best view in the world. Clean, the beds were VERY comfy, spacious, great kitchen, and excellent staff. The village of Apgar is the best spot in the park and I love the Apgar trail. Our stay could not have been better.

The Village Inn at Apgar served well as our home base for three nights at Glacier. Rooms are cozy and retro, with an unforgettable view. The staff was very kind and helpful. My wife found the cleanliness a little underwhelming...and that may be true...but otherwise a very good experience.

First the room is right out of Madmen... 1950's fun motel style! As mentioned in other reviews... the VIEW is out of this world. Think I could sit and sit just staring at that view. The beds were really comfortable, had a kitchenette although we didn't use it other than to make coffee. Nearby are store fronts to cover basic...

My husband and I stayed at this property in the fall of 2015. We were stunned by our view, although we saw the many photos on TA. Probably what we enjoyed the most was the fact that the motel has been remodeled in a 1950's era decor. It brought back great childhood memories of a simpler time. No TV's! What...

Location, location, location! View, view, view! Our kids loved this spot (they preferred it to Many Glacier Hotel), because they adored the village literally steps from the hotel. We didn't realize there were so many cute gift shops / snack places nearby when we planned vacation. Immediately when we arrived, kids wanted to swim. Not sure what people mean about...
