This was a nightmare the place was dirty the sheets looked bleached out, only local channel on TV no mini bar nor refrigerator, or coffee pot, this was a disappointment but I was celebrating my anniversary I got to spend time with my boo and that was the whole thing
Arrived very late last night and was greeted, and I use that lightly, by a receptionist who's English was appalling. Could just about understand him. He was so unfriendly. Not engaging or welcoming. To make matters worse my daughter and I was given 2 separate rooms 404 and 403 due to renovation. We wasn't informed of this by yourselves or them. Couldnt understand why we were given 2 rooms as one was enough for both of us. Having a kingsize bed. Room 403 wasn't too bad until we saw the toilet which had a used tampon swimming in it. The cleaners were in another room. We approached them explained the situation and they was so blaise as if it didn't matter. My daughter understandably didn't want to sleep in that room. So we shared mine. Also the description and pictures that we saw on your website doesn't and I mean doesn't match what we saw with our own eyes. If it wasn't for the fact that the sign said galaxy motel I would of thought it was a crack den. This morning we asked for directions and he was so rude and dismissive asking our question with a question to the point that we had to count to ten before the situation got out of hand and walk away. Overall the whole place could do with refurbishing and sending the 2 receptionist on a customer service training course. There is basic budget and there's crack den budget. I'm not asking for much as a customer. What I see on your website is what I expected. Even the cab driver said be careful it's dangerous. I'm very disappointed with my accommodation. And definitely not recommended to anyone.…
The most vulgar disgusting place I have ever stayed. I have stayed at some 1 star hotels/motels that were cleaner and nicer than this place. They should be 1/2 star motel at most. The only reason I would give it a half star would be location. Its within 4 blocks of NY Subway system and many fast food choices within a block. Hourly rental rates and free PORN will tell you all you need to know. I wouldn't recommend this place to homeless person living under a bridge. I was so ashamed of having the photos on my phone I didnt even take any.
Despite the fact there were the traditional decals denoting the establishment accepted all of the credit cards: Amex, Visa and MasterCard, despite having reserved the room and paid a deposit through budgetplaces.com, the man in the enclosed glass booth would NOT accept my credit card as a method of payment. The state of the room was descheveled, unemptied garbage can, filty dirty rug, had to make multiple requests for towels even though the reservation was for 2 adults. The vibe in the lobby was that of a drug and prostitutes by appearances to be inside the front door and scattered outside the front of the building and the side. The location seemed to back onto what in hollywood could best be described as a back alley where anything could occur. The bathroom door had to be propped open and was also damaged. The walls of the room were as if they were paper thin and as such you could hear traffic in and out all all about with people talking walking, quarreling at all hours of the day, afternoon and night, early mornings. Very unsettling. Lastly, the pictures as shown on expedia, hotels.ca and other websites, are a FRAUD. From the moment you go inside the front door of the place, you know it does not look the same. The impression of the appearance gets progressively worse by the time you enter the motel room. I would have to believe, a Howard Johnson's or Super * Motel would have been more suitable than this so called Motel. To be kind, it was sketchy, when in reality it was worse than a DIVE! I've never stayed in any place worse, in Brooklyn, or any where in the US, Canada, the caribbean or europe! Having paid the money, and was sure a refund was not likely upon request or demand, we stayed and suffered through!…
This place is a Hell Hole the dirtiest grossest place I've ever seen. They couldn't pay me to stay there. Room looked like a bad horror movie. Should be turned into health department. Don't waste your time stay away.
I've stayed in some seriously low end motels before, I am not a high maintenance person...but this place was horrible! The cigarette butts and garbage lining the stairwell up to the room were just the beginning. Room was dirty...I mean really dirty. Burn holes in the bed blanket, yellow pillowcases(supposed to be white), holes in the walls, clear tape and clothing size stickers all over the walls and ceiling, disgusting stains all over the shower, non functioning door latches....and after walking into the room and immediately leaving, they refused to refund my payment, stating(through the bullet proof glass cage surrounding the receptions desk) that I had already checked in....uh...how else would I see how nasty the room was if I hadn't? Stay away, dirty place, dirtier people running it!…
For the money i expected a little more, it didnt look like the pictures,, its somewhat ratty, needs to be up kept better,, needs to be updated,,, not a family hotel it has a more hourly clientele,, plenty of parking, the bed was clean, an comfortable room was clean, an cleaned daily, the area is ok and has plenty of fast food nearby.
This is a worse experience have ever after planning a weekend with me hubby we some how was trying this motel and we have so much regrets first has we enter the hallway we smell something stinky them to the bedroom there was no was cloth and the bathroom sucks the bedroom was dirty and dusty I literally have to use my body splash to get some fresh sense there won't be a next time for me in this motel this is for a one night slam only Hocker should go to this motel .
I had to stay one night in brooklyn and was soo tired looking for a place I ended up at the Galaxy hotel. The parking lot was a mess and I expected from the looks of the entrance that the room would be the same. To my surprise I requested something on the top floor, got to the room and was pleasantly surprised to see such a clean room and more so a bathroom that you would normally find in a five star hotel. It looked like it was recently remodeled, it smelled clean and so did the towels. All in all I had a restful night, the lighting in the room could be upgraded though.
The bed smelled. The room was not clean at all. We booked it from priceline and the location turned out to be pretty awful within the area we selected, and creepy. The room did not have a proper lock.
