Breakfast was not offered or available. Wifi signal weak on upper floor and my room had no TV. Stayed 3 nights and never saw owner - which is weird for a B&B. Only positive was common kitchen had fridge, microwave and coffeemaker if you wanted to buy groceries to make your own breakfast

We wanted to stay somewhere that was a little less expensive without substituting quality - a reasonably difficult thing to do when travelling unless you luck out. We stayed for four days and we were extremely happy with the room. It was spacious, the bed was super comfortable and the whole house was clean and classy looking. It's a little...

The brownstone is gorgeous and well located. Prospect park subway and Q line are convenient to get to various parts of Manhattan and other city lines. The host was not available when we arrived, but this got sorted out within an hour or so. Nice kitchen for guest use -- coffee etc. Two shared bathrooms -- both a good size...

Surprisingly quiet brownstone not far from a busy corner in Brooklyn, NY and just minutes away from Prospect Park subway is roomy and well appointed. The resident Inn-Keeper welcomes you upon arrival with a tour of the rooms and facilities. Free Wi-Fi, air-conditioned bedrooms, frequently cleaned shared bathrooms and kitchen make this a home away from home. My wife and...

We had an extremely disappointing experience at Lefferts Gardens. From being yelled at upon arrival to being told that the second half of our payment would be accepted in cash only (without being previously made aware of it), the property manager seemed to go out of her way to make our stay unpleasant. We dreaded running into her in the...

The owner, Michelle, is absolutely crazy. She over-charged my group late fees that were not applicable, accused us of calling her a terrorist, and refused to adjust my invoice for an additional $135 that we paid her. She also confirmed that we would receive a 10% discount for staying with our group, and only one couple out of seven received...

Dear Danileia, everyone who knows me will tell you this picture you painted of me is so untrue. My goal in life is to treat people the way I would like them to treat me. We had a lovely time at Lefferts B&B. We stayed in the Blue Room in Fenimore Street which was really comfortable. They accommodated dropping off our luggage early and freshening up before heading out for the day as we had a very early arrival. This was greatly appreciated! The walk to the Prospect Park subway was easy and the restaurant...

I stayed in Leffets gardens b&b for one week, and i really liked it. Its cozy place, not very fancy. I really liked the feeling of being "real New Yorker" and staying in a house that looks a bit like Carries home from Sex and the City. I also liked the fact that there was a kitchen, so i could...

Located in a quiet, leafy road with impressive brownstones, mostly refurbished by young professionals seeking value for money, this house is just 50 yards from a "vibrant" shopping street short on sophistication and long on ethnicity. The deal here is really a room, not B&B.Shared bathroom, communal kitchen with fridge, cooker. I stayed in the "HIlton" room (homour is not lacking)...

We were so pleased we chose Lefferts Gardens Residence for our stay in New York City. Although it is located in Brooklyn it was easy to access all of the city attractions. The subway station is a short walk away and the neighbourhood is interesting. There are a few local restaurants and markets nearby. The brownstone house is beautiful with...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Lefferts Gardens Residence B&B is located in a classic historical brownstone in Brooklyn, New York. It is a sophisticated Brooklyn boutique extended stay B&B, where you can experience tranquility with old world charm and new world ambience. The house was designed in the 1890’s by William M. Miller as part of various unique residences constructed of brick, limestone, and sandstone. This four story brownstone is tucked in the middle of a picture perfect block, with trees aligning both sides of the street. The house has some of the best preserved original Tiger Oak and Mahogany woodwork. The house features carved mantles, fully functioning pocket doors, glass windows, and door panels. Another outstanding element is a massive skylight with stained glass that floods the stairway and hallway with natural lighting. The bedrooms which are located on the two upper levels contain triple bay windows from floor to ceiling, gorgeous parquet floor, and much more. The top floor's front room overlooks the surrounding homes on Rutland Road, while the back room overlooks the home's backyard. In addition to our private, blissful light filled rooms, our great location has so much to offer. Lefferts Gardens is one of many growing exclusive neighborhoods in Brooklyn. It’s adjacent to Park Slope, along with the famous Prospect Park. Lefferts Gardens Residence Bed and Breakfast is easily accessible to many of Brooklyn's attractions. The nearby train station, Prospect Park station, is walking distance from the house. The Prospect Park station is accessible to the B and Q train, however it connects to all major subway lines such as the 2, 3, 4, 5, R, N, S, LIRR, etc. These trains are frequent, safe, and reliable. Some of the nearby attractions include the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Prospect Park, the Prospect Park Zoo, the Brooklyn Museum, the Brooklyn Public Library, Coney Island, Luna Park Amusement Park, NYC bus sightseeing tours, the newly built Barclays Sport Center. The Barclays Sport Center is home of the Brooklyn Nets and most of the new and exciting entertainment. Manhattan, which is mainly referred as ‘the city’, is merely twenty minutes away via subway train. Some popular attractions are Central Park, The Metropolitan Museum of Arts, Lincoln Center, Rockefeller Center, Madison Square Garden, Times Square, Empire State Building, Carnegie Hall and much more. And believe it or not, most of these attractions are about twenty or less minutes away. Along with our location, we provide beautiful rooms for your relaxation and comfort. Each room includes housekeeping and breakfast for a nominal fee. Requests for breakfast need to be made in advance. The rate of each room is determined by the size of the room. For every additional person added to a room occupied by 2 persons is a fee of $35 per night. All rooms are identical except for the dimensions.
