I book a loft suite at this hotel on for Oct 31. I got the confirmation from this hotel. It is for my wife's birthday. So I want to make sure this reservation is safe. I sent the salesperson at this hotel - Sylvia Bielska. She even confirmed my reservation with me that the room has a balcony. Today, I sent one more email to make sure this room is reserved for me. I sent her email, called her at her office. She didn't pick up my call. Later, she said my reservation is cancelled without explain why. I already booked the room with my credit card. If the room is not reserved for me, i am okay. I can reserve other hotel - there are many many better hotel in williamsburg. Why didn't pick up my call to explain. Please do not go to this hotel.
I called and could not get a straight answer regarding disinfection. I have been looking to book a date, but was concerned with COVID19 being the new Norm. Beware of the lack of disinfection and sterilization. The majority of hotels are bypassing and skipping this important step before allowing patrons to resume regular occupancy. Many of these hotels have been housing COVID patients to prevent spreading or first responders who deal with the public on a consistent basis. Ask what steps are taken to ensure proper safety for their guests. Bleach and regular cleaning is not an acceptable answer. Be smart and stay safe.
***Spire Member*** Was disappointed that they did not have umbrellas for their guests. Also, never received my "greener stay" points that I should have earned for that week. Rooms could have been cleaner. Bummer stay!
The room was lovely, large and clean. Plenty of space for our clothes. Nice big shower with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner all provided. Bed was comfortable. Staff very helpful. Subway was just around the corner with easy access into Manhatten.
Front desk staff is lovely but the room is so disappointing! There are stains on the bed and the "city view" is a pathetic view of the highway! When we booked the room we selected included parking but the parking company seems to be an independent company so we will have to pay...again.
