We stumbled on this location looking for an affordable place to stay in NY, for a Brooklyn Wedding we were attending. This place was that, prob one of the better priced accommodations in the area. It was a good value for NY standards. The neighborhood,...More
There aren't enough options if you want to stay in Brooklyn so I was very happy to find the Sofia Inn. It's on a quiet, attractive block of brownstones but so convenient to museums, park, restaurants etc (and my son's apartment). My room was on...More
This isn't a B&B. Neither is it some pristine designer place. It is an old building with a lot of character. There is no breakfast. Our room had a small kitchen and fridge. However we chose to eat out. The local bagel shop is great....More
We stayed here for 3 nights at the start of our US trip. It is a fabulous old brownstone building in a great and safe area within walking distance of all you need (subway, restaurants, shops etc). The Garden Suite is the ground floor of...More

No, the bathroom on the second floor is in the hallway and the bathroom on the third floor is kind of like a jack and jill bathroom. I was worried about sharing a bathroom when I got there but found that I never ran into my floormate and both were VERY clean. If you inquire about whether there will be others on your floor they will tell you and I think knowing helped! I absolutely LOVED this place and will stay there again if I ever have the chance to get back to the Brooklyn museum of work again!
