I enjoy 1 Hotels generally. I've stayed at the South Beach location and thought that was phenomenal. This was very different because, unlike South Beach, Brooklyn Bridge is not a resort and there is an assumption that you will explore the city more. Which is an accurate assumption. It's pricey like all 1 Hotels, so I wouldn't consider that a con considering you should already know that before booking. Overall, I would stay here again as I had a very pleasant experience. I don't feel encouraged to rant and rave about it as I did the South Beach location, but again that's because it feels more like a great hotel in a spectacular city rather than a beautiful resort where you might spend most of your time (also in a great city). Pros: - The location is great and beautiful. Right next to the Brooklyn Bridge, in a busy but seemingly safe area. Subway is 12min walk. - All service except for the rooftop was fantastic. The servers on the rooftop at the bar were cold and extended no pleasantries. It isnt enough to deduct from my rating, especially since the service (hostesses and bouncers included) were all great and welcoming. - Cleanliness - My room was super clean and I am a clean freak. It's one of the reasons I choose 1 Hotels. - Food - Their food is really way above average for "hotel food" and can contend with any restaurant. The food is expensive but the portions are super generous and that is appreciated given the pricetag. - Facilities - Everything appears well maintained. Cons: - Restaurants were not always opened and the times they were were limited. Again, the expectation is that guests will venture out into the city, but I was disappointed not to be able to try the Osprey. - So far, I've found that all 1 Hotels are structured this way. The water from the shower spills out into the bathroom. There is no lip to contain the water and that gets a little frustrating. It wasnt enough to deduct a point because that's part of the clean aesthetic of the hotels, but super annoying and you should know what you're getting into. - I had to ask for slippers at this location (didnt have to ask at others) and was given two different kinds of slippers. Again, this is fine and not something that detracts from my experience. But they were missing the 1 Hotel logo and uniformity. - The bathroom is basically out in the open and in the room. And the shower door is a clear door. So no privacy. I knew this before I booked and I wasnt sharing the room so it was fine for me. - The walls are thin.…
I visited the 1 Hotel BB on a quick get away from Miami with my friend- Finally our first girls trip post pandemic! From check in to check out, our stay was incredible to say the least. Upon arriving to the hotel the staff was friendly and inviting and made you feel safe and comfortable as the property has implemented plenty of covid safe procedures. Tori and Sharice at the front desk were accommodating to all of our requests and had such pleasant energy every time we saw them as we came and left from the hotel. We made reservations (make sure you do too) to the rooftop pool and were blown away by the beautiful view - nothing can top poolside sushi and perfectly curated cocktails on a warm summer day with a view of Manhattan, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the Statue of Liberty, (and it’s pretty cool to see all the helicopters flying by if you’re into that kind of thing). Whether you have dinner or cocktails - a visit to the lounge in the evening is a MUST as the view and ambiance simply cannot be beat. Eddie the GM at the rooftop MADE the experience. He made sure we were happy from beginning to end. Joe another manager stopped by to say hello and made sure we were all set as well. Shout out to Ana, Nila, Alex, Mikhail, Gino and Randy the lifeguard - Harriet’s FINEST! Finally, we ended our trip with dinner reservations at The Osprey. Laura the manager was kind and made Recommendations that we loved! Dinner here was hands down the best meal of our whole trip. From the intentional architecture and carefully thought out interior design, to the consistently great service through the multiple venues on property, the 1 Hotel BB is a great choice to stay while getting away and we will definitely be back.…
The 1 Hotel is my home away from home. I feel as though I’m returning to a place that rejuvenates my mind and body every time I visit. It’s a place that everyone will fall in love with. Go to 1 Hotel!
I would like to compliment the entire staff of 1hotel Brooklyn. We just returned back to Ireland after a wonderful 3 night stay. We have previously stayed in the 1hotel Miami beach & the Brooklyn hotel met & exceeded all of our expectations. When we stay in NY we have always stayed in Manhattan, but not anymore! Best regards
It was an amazing stay. Rooms were clean and the whole hotel had eco-friendly designs and system. Staffs were friendly and the neighborhood was peaceful. View from room and hotel was unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel.
Seriously, I delusionally believe 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge is where I also live. My husband and I live in Queens, and we frequent a few times a year to stay-cation. We have been staying here since the begging (the soft opening) and it has my heart. 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge is my happy place. I wrote a review YEARS back, but for some reason I can't find what account that was under....so since I am on now I figured I would just do another one. Also, they finally nailed the restaurant with the chef they have now! Now it is just perfection, and the views are spectacular. We normally get the Brooklyn Bridge King, but splurged last time on the Skyline Suite - there are not words for how sexy the view is (PS: don't take my room - I'm serious)!) A truly special place, that amid all the price hikes (it's crazy out there) has actually stayed pretty consistently reasonable. We will be back....we always come back! I am actually burning the candle now : )…
What can I say…One of the best hotel experience my family and I have had in years. Hands down to an awesome team! Thank you Alisha, Halina, Brian, Eric and Elex. Most of the time I can’t even remember one name, but this time it one more personal. Staff treated us like family! Especially with having two little kids that was so important. From the moment we stepped out of our Uber, the bell staff was already there with a welcoming attitude. We arrived way before check in time and the front desk team was super friendly and was able to accommodate us early and also provided us with a spectacular room that overlooked the entire view of the city! The retractable window in the room was amazing!! Make sure to take advantage of it as it unlocks you to another level of relaxation. It made us feel connected to the world and made it difficult to want to venture out. Thank you for awesome getaway! Will definitely be back!!!…
The staff is pro and very kind. The room, even the low rate one is comfortable with one observation. I like the modernism and save the nature style of the hotel but I still want to have the bathroom "well sealed" apart the rest of the room. Breakfast is good but overpriced and you have to wait long, first in the queue and then at the table. The rooftop is astonish. Both the bar and the pool are great. The view of the Manhattan is unbelievable even if you know it well.
I was impress with the hotel. It feels earthy, the decir beautiful. The staff as soon I arrived were courteous and help me with my carryon. The desk person check me very fast and walked me to elevator. Any questions I had they answered them. The area were the hotel is stunning. Great Vibe. I recommend it. Thank you to the staff that made me feel like I was their favorite guess. Even it was my first time
The cafe whereis offered breakfast is not adequate, way too small and the service was slow/bad. Too many guests, too many people, so you had to wait much too long. Room was not as good in shape as it should be. We had a broken window frame so that we couldn´t close it. We had to call someone EVERY time we opened the window. The water tap for the hot water was not really fixed. Positiv was that we could sleep well in the night, it´s a quiet place. Next Metro station is 10 min. away and around the hotel is not that much.
