Stayed here for 2 nights with my wife and 9 year old daughter. We were given a room with 2 “doubles.” The beds were highly uncomfortable. I am not particularly tall (5’11”), but the bed was not long enough even for me, and my feet dangled off the edge of the bed. I have never experienced a hotel with beds that are not long enough for a person under 6 feet. More than one of the front desk staff were rude, and the service was very poor (the cleaning staff were not rude at all). We were given the third degree on the day of our checkout while waiting in the lobby and repeatedly asked our last name, as if we were loitering and not paying guests. To top things off, we were charged a fee to hold out bags for a few hours when we checked out. I have stayed in hotels all over the world. This is not a thing. Anywhere. Do not stay here.…
The service was special. The room was clean, convenient and pleasant. I had breakfast there, and tasted the best avocado toast I’ve ever had (thank you, Chris!), and the location is perfect for activities in Brooklyn, like BAM and the Brooklyn Museum, both of which I got to experience in one day.
The hotel was clean. The best part was Areanna and Monique, they were very helpful and amazing and always smiling. Very friendly and made our experience better. They even helped me bring my luggage cart out to my car ! Thank you ladies!
Fantastic customer service and very nice rooms. Great location between two subway stations that offer easy access to Manhattan. Food and shopping walking distance and has a breakfast/dinner restaurant and bar on-site. Loved the ladies at the front desk. Monique and Tiffany were wonderful
After a drama filled night where our hotel gave up our room and where we tried booking other hotels which were also full, we walked into EVEN expecting the same response. Surprisingly we were told there were rooms available and Trinita who was there to welcome us early in the mooning ( 2am!!) was very warm and receiving. Kudos to her and her team for their assistance and accommodation!! Would definitely stay again!!
Ashley (dinner) and Kevin (breakfast) took excellant care of us at the EVEN Kitchen and Bar. The dinner prepared by chef Nkosi was Sooooo good. As elder customers, we were new to the processes but both Ashley and Kevin spent extra time to explain how the somewhat self serve "marketplace" worked and they were very plesant about it too,
Nice hotel. Great little bar. Ashley was great to hang and have a drink. Chef Miguel made a great sandwich rooms are clean and efficient. Parking is around the corner . Good locatin in the center of everything
The EVEN Hotel Brooklyn really took care of us for our first trip to New York. The staff took care of us right from the beginning to make sure we would have two rooms that were next to each other. Monique at the front desk helped us understand how to use the subway system and took care of our luggage on our last day before our flight. There is a beer and wine bar at night and a self service breakfast area. The gym on the first and basement levels was easy to access and clean. The rooms are not very large, but are cozy. I recommend asking for a room on the north side or south side, not in the middle. I would stay here again for a short trip to Brooklyn.
This hotel has a ton of fitness amenities and great service. We stayed on the 3rd floor and the street wasn’t that noisy. Sangay got out room super clean everyday. Good location and easy to get to the subway.
Had a great time during my stay - the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the front desk staff is kind and helpful. It's also convenient to a few subway lines, so it's easy to get wherever you're going. I'll definitely be back!
