Great location, everything you can think of doing in Fairbanks area is just a short drive away. Debi & Bruce gave us lots of helpful advices on planning our trip. Bruce made sure the fire pit is ready for us to use every night. The cabin itself is very cute and cozy. During our 4-day stay, many times we had...

If you're planning a trip to Fairbanks, I can't imagine a better place to stay than Riverbend Cottages. Located on the banks of the Chena River, you really get the feel of rural Alaska, while only a short drive from downtown Fairbanks. This was our 3rd trip, each in March, and we couldn't have been happier. March is a great...

Do you have viewing the Aurora Borealis on your bucket list? You can't do better than to go to Fairbanks, Alaska in March. And once there, the Riverbend Log Cabins is a great base for exploring Alaska during the day and viewing the Aurora at night. Located outside of Fairbanks near North Pole, Debi and Bruce offer two cozy log...

Riverbend was the perfect place to stay in Fairbanks for our trip to Alaska. The Chinook cabin is warm and homey with special touches throughout to make it ultra-cozy. We sat on the porch for breakfast each morning, despite the cold weather, because it was simply too beautiful not to. The location on the Chena was perfect for scenery, privacy,...

Debi and Bruce Hansen are the perfect hosts of this beautiful log cabin retreat about 20-25 minutes east of Fairbanks city center. The photos online are beautiful, but even they don't do it justice. My husband and I stayed there when a foot of snow covered the ground and truly made the place a majestic winter wonderland. Debi greeted us...

We stayed in the Sourdough cabin in February - arriving late at night & checking out early a few days later. While we did not get to visit with our hosts, they took good care of us, leaving a continental breakfast on our arrival day (which we scarfed part of at 1am when we got in). The cabin were well...

We searched high and low for a nice place to stay and see the Northern Lights without having to drive around or do a tour. We saw lights 3 nights of the five we stayed here. One night we watched from inside our cabin. Our hosts, Bruce and Debi were wonderful They were great about letting us know when the...

We stayed in Chinook cabin for 5 nights in December 2015 and we can't say enough good things about it! It had a home away from home feel to it. The cabin was toasty warm and comfortable, with nicely decorated interior, and everything we needed. The view of winter wonderland everyday was just amazing and we did see the Northern...

Love the cabin! Warm, clean, lovely and you could find nearly all your needs. Debbie and Bruce are perfect hosts. They will remind you everything! Like when is the aurora, where to go, and I love Debbie's homemade bread! You could see northern light in your cabin, but if you want to have a better scene, then have to go...

Our ultimate goal was to see the northern lights in all their glory. Not only did we achieve this, but we did it in a very warm, welcoming and accommodating environment. Debi and Bruce are perfect hosts and a wealth of local knowledge. We stayed in the smaller of the the two cabins; 'Sourdough'. It's very cosy, nice and warm...

Thanks so much for the great review and posting the fantastic picture of the northern lights you took at Riverbend Log Cabins! We agree that the Sourdough cabin is quite cozy and warm, even on a cold Alaskan winter night and offers a perfect location for viewing the Northern Lights. It is wonderful you were able to experience a time...
