If making a trip to Fairbanks, this beautifully appointed B&B should top the list. The owner treats the guests like rock stars with an amazing blend of hospitality & culinary expertise. The view is amazing and serves as a relaxing retreat.

Gorgeous place and view. Super kind and friendly owner, comfy bed. Lots of extra neat reasons to stay here- the reception, the breakfast (oh that syrup!), chance to see the lights (when we were there we saw a small show of lights, no colors but a hint of action!), it's quiet, and we even got to play billiards before we...

Best time ever! Kathy has an intuitive sense about her guests' needs and personalities and provides such good care of them. She had lots of good advice about things to do and see in Fairbanks and environs. The aurora was spectacular, right out the front door of A Moose in the Garden. On top of that, her home is wonderful-beautifully...

From the moment that we arrived to our final good-bye, our experience with Kathy and our stay at The Moose in the Garden was amazing. We came to Fairbanks in February on a life long dream to see the auroras and we were not disappointed. Kathy even woke me up at 1:30 am on our first night to see the...

A Moose in the Garden Bed & Breakfast was a warm and delightful welcome to our awesome but long day of traveling and dog sledding. Kathy had a hot fire blazing and a tea kettle on the stove for much appreciated hot tea. My daughter and I stayed in the Northern Lights Room, an inviting, beautiful space with plenty of...

We stayed here just after Christmas for 5 nights in the upstairs loft room. Kathy is a great host and a very good cook as well. She will look after you and make you a wonderful breakfast or snack but she is also happy to let you make up your own coffee or snacks if you wish. Our bed was...

We feel very lucky to have found this lovely place. We stayed 4 nights hoping to see the aurora borealis. Kathy was very helpful in researching this, giving us websites and always checking to see if it would be visible. We were the only guests and stayed in the Northern Lights loft room. It was super comfortable and had plenty...

Came to Fairbanks from Anchorage on Christmas evening to a lovely log home outside Fairbanks for a three-night stay. The host-Kathy-was accommodating and gracious. Full, freshly-prepared breakfasts were delicious, innovative and filling. The location is a bit out of town, but should be good Northern Lights viewing on clear nights. Unfortunately it was cloudy during our visit.

Treat yourself to a stay at "A Moose in the Garden B & B" if in Fairbanks. We stayed there for a night while touring through Alaska, and it was delightful. Relaxing, clean, welcoming, comfortable make for a great experience. Kathy, the owner, makes a fabulous breakfast in the morning. So fun to have breakfast with our friends we were...
