The excellent reviews are probably true too if that's what you want in accomodation. We are 2 well travelled, easy going Australians girls that couldn't wait to leave. Our twin room was so small and dark we need torches in the day. It's in the private section of billies house so.. it's your grandmas place.. dusty, old stinky dog, random...

Interior design was so homy and I met lots of fun people from all over the world. I highly recommend! Billie has opened the place for more than twice years. There were several booklets of traveling logs from...

Billie and her neighbours are so nice and kind! The environment is quite. It has all kinds of necessary equipment you want for living and playing. And it is a pretty good place for aurora sightseeing.

I stayed here a year ago, on the 13th January 2016, and have just found this place on TripAdvisor! I arrived in Fairbanks at around midnight after travelling for 24 hours from my home in Scotland. I was tired and jet lagged and nervous and Billie and her family were so friendly and accommodating. It was a great start to...

That's what Billie said when we walked in the door..and she meant it. We got off the train on Christmas Eve. There were plates of hot food waiting for us. We were included in Christmas dinner with friends and neighbors the next night. There were no "do this" or "don't do that" signs common in some hostel. Billie said, "I...
