This inn is within walking distance of the T. It has a wonderful and extensive breakfast, and the rooms are very spacious. We were in room 3 and I had a bit of trouble with the bed. The pillow top mattress was a bit too fluffy. It was difficult for me to get comfortable, although my husband thought it was...

I went to Boston for a Medical Course and I lived in Samuel Sewall Inn during all July. I always felt as it was my home because all the staff, Kevin, Christen...tried to put me in the best place for my purposes and to makeeverything easy and nice for me . This was our first trip to Boston and we loved everything about Sewall Inn. Yes, you do have to pay $15/day to park but that is minimal compared to other places. The breakfast was great, snacks available 24 hrs & a nice fridge to keep personal food items. The location was so close to a main T line & the staff...

My boyfriend and I planned a trip to see a band (Mew) in Boston and needed a place to stay that was close to the Paradise Rock Club. I searched Google maps for hotels nearby and found several that were close but quite expensive, and then by accident I found the Samuel Sewall Inn, whose price, location, and rooms were...

This and the Longwood Inn are very similar as they are both bed and breakfasts in Brookline and are only a block or so apart and conveniently located a block or two from the metro stop. I stayed at them both in May and preferred the Longwood because our room there had an air conditioner, nice TV, and there was...

Avoid the big chain hotels with this Boston jewel! New England charm with modern amenities. A sweet little hotel in renovated historic home in a nice neighborhood. The T stop is two blocks away and you can get around Boston easily -- because you DON'T want to drive in Boston. The bed was sooo comfortable! The rates so reasonable. If...

This bed and breakfast was accommodating and extremely close to the St. Paul stop of the T. I came to Boston for the historical sites and I must say that the Samuel Seawall Inn was one of my favorite stops on the whole trip! The food was delicious in the morning, and was always different then the day before. The...

My husband and I stayed while visiting Fenway Park. This location was great, as it was within walking distance (about 1.25 miles) and the train was just down the block if we did not want to walk. Our stay in the inn was terrific. The staff was outstanding, They were so nice and couldent have been more helpful. The room...

The bed in Room 7 was so comfortable that my husband and I asked about it so we could buy the same mattress for our home. The jars of chocolate almonds and dried fruit are a wonderful added touch (especially since chocolate almonds are my all-time favorite). The breakfast was delicious, the room was quiet, everything was super clean.

We stayed here for 3 nights visiting our daughter for her birthday. Coolidge Corners is a great area and public transportation is nearby. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable. The bathroom was nice but small. We enjoyed the morning breakfasts. We definitely will return.

“While we had the same room for two different stays, we did see some of the other rooms which were also very nice. We had a basic queen size room which was perfect for my husband and myself.”

“Room 4, a corner room on the ground floor, is very nice and has a window air-conditioning unit and a floor fan that were perfect for keeping the room cool. There is a working fireplace for winter that I'm sure would create a very cozy atmosphere. This standard room worked well as a single; it might be a bit small for a double as there is no closet and I used convenient hooks on the wall with hangers for my clothes. I saw the other three rooms on the ground floor and they are all quite a bit bigger.”
