I stayed in the Beacon Room. The bathroom is small and lacked a plug in the sink. However, it met my needs. The staff tried very hard to be accommodating; holding my parking space for me when my stay was a little longer than 24 hours, calling cabs, giving directions, etc. The Inn is very accessible to trains, BU campus,...

The Beacon Inn is in a nice location in Brookline. Convenient to both Kenmore Square as well as points west e.g. Coolidge Corner and other green line stops, it affords easy access to many shopping and local eatery joints for the out of town traveler. Our room, Beacon, did have an en suite bathroom but it was a converted closet...

We took a chance on the apartment rental that for the price I knew would not be great but the room was really depressing and just damn gross. Couldn't believe this is actually a legal rental. I'm not going to detail how horrible this was just don't book!

My daughter and I stayed at The Beacon Inn over the fourth of July weekend and had a wonderful time. Great room (1st floor Isabella Gardner room), fabulous location (easy walk to Coolidge Corner and Kenmore Square, steps away from the T), and friendly and helpful staff (I can't stress this enough). If you want to experience "Old Boston", forget...

Boston proper is notoriously pricey when it comes to hotel rooms. This brownstone rowhouse cum boutique hotel is not only affordable for its spacious (if not entirely immaculate) rooms, but its location just off a T station ensures easy and quick access to the sights of downtown Boston. Would definitely visit again.

This inn is simply outstanding in any possible way. It is very authentic and unique. The rooms are large and very well laid out. Beds are super. The service was simply flawless. Front desk guy was impressive (don't know his name but he was an Asian guy). We are demanding customers and not easy to impress; but we were! Thank...

I was in Boston for a little over 24 hours and didn't need a full service hotel. The good news is, the Inn is right on the Green Line. The bad news is, the Inn is right on the Green Line. Most bedrooms face the street, so there is a LOT of noise until the train stops running, sometime in...

The hotel is pleasant enough, old brownstone-y feel and shows wear. One bed was fine, the other sagged and mushy. Overall ok for a bandb, but my biggest complaint is pricing. The prices quoted were different for consecutive weekday nights. We took the room because it was only two nights and we needed a hotel. I asked the manager why...

I had a very nice one night stay at the Beacon Inn. There were a couple snappos in the beginning as the hotel had double booked my room and the room I was switched to we dicovered had not been cleaned. However, in both cases the employees were quick to respond and extremely apologetic. The room was cozy and the...

All the amenities, down the street from Fenway. Ask for the "Emergency Exit" rooms. No key required! Jk. ;) Then, catch a few games to Fenway. Across the street from the T train, and a few restaurants nearby.
