I was so impressed with this hotel that I will definitely be going back. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The rooms are clean and very large. You dont feel like you're in a hotel room. The location could not be better. Right next door to The Olde Pink House and walking distance to River Street. I will definitely...

This hotel decor is gorgeous. The staff is fantastic! Location is great and easy to walk from to points of interest. Could not have asked for a better place to stay. They have wine and cheese happy hour. I don't drink but my daughter said she has had better. The cookies baked at night are yummy.

The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful, made us feel right at home. We've stayed at larger more posh hotels, but this one was very special. Made for a remarkable Savannah experience. We enjoyed the wine and cheese reception before dinner each night. The location was perfect, close to everything, and right on Reynolds Square which was peaceful day and...

We stayed here last week for four days. We've never encountered a more friendly, helpful, welcoming staff. The location is also perfect. It's a very short walk to the river but far enough away from the heavier traffic and noise. So location and staff both get 5 stars. The overall score of 3 comes from shortcomings of the building. It's...

Can Walk to everywhere you want to go in Savannah from this hotel. Very convenient. Old world atmosphere. Staff very willing to help with everything. Very accessible to a fine restaurant right next door. Nightly turndown and wine and cheese in the lobby.

The overall-all hotel is okay, staff are very helpful but the two extra amenities, wine & cheese and the breakfast are below average, even tacky. I know it looks good to advertise the hotel offers free breakfast, wine reception and cookies at night but certainly looks like not much effort was put into it. The breakfast is the usual toast,...

Lovely 3 days shared with friends. Hotel staff was most accommodating. Great suggestions and nice touches like pre-dinner wine/cheese/fruit served in lobby & cookies at 9PM. Central location for walking, trolley pickups, etc. Would stay here anytime we visit Savannah.

My wife and I went to Savannah for Oktoberfest, and we stayed at the Planters Inn. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was very clean and the room was very nicely furnished. We will stay here again a heartbeat!!

If you want to be in the center of old Savannah, this is it. This small hotel is perfect, charming lobby, friendly staff and wine & snacks every night (except Sunday). The room was spacious just like the pics, Only negative is that the breakfast area is small and doesn't allow you to linger over a cup of coffee too...

Planter's Inn is a convenient location for exploring the architecture, shops, parks, restaurants and river front of Savannah. The friendly porters, front desk staff, concierge and catering staff are very knowledgeable and attentive. The evening wine and cheese is a nice touch before heading out to sample local cuisine. Our only two comments are firstly, that the breakfast room is...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
To sleep in the epicenter of the city's beautiful historic district, book some time here, on Reynolds Square. The Planters Inn offers elegant rooms, great service, and a jovial wine and cheese reception where people linger each afternoon. For a view, ask about one of the rooms overlooking Reynolds Square Park. Better yet, step outside the inn and get lost among the azaleas and architecture. Just make it back for your dose of wine and cheese. ... more   less
