Love the Planters Inn, great location, amazing hospitality and service. We were there for St. Paddy's day (2 nights). Never drove anywhere. Three women shared a large room, double vanity with two queen beds. Spacious accommodations for a historic inn. Everything up to date and 1st class.

The Planters Inn is an excellent location from which to explore Savannah...you can walk to everywhere of interest from there. The "staff" were extra-ordinarilly helpful and the evening free wine tasting (with cheese) gave a great opportunity to meet other guests. Highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights. Planter’s Inn is at Reynolds Square right in the heart of the Historic District. It is absolutely a great place to stay. Its location makes it easy for walking around the city. It’s close to the river front, restaurants, historic sites, and anything you might want to do in the city....

In Savannah for an overnight and stayed at the Planters Inn in the historic district. Service was awesome. We wanted to explore later than what checkout time was and they held our bags and we could leave the car valet parked until 11 pm that night if you wanted. Nice breakfast choices in the morning also. Everything was within walking...

The Planters Inn had good accommodations with a good full breakfast. Wine and cheese are available nightly. Special commendation goes to Concierge, Karin, who made sure our visit was a delight. The champagne for my birthday was a very special surprise, that showed up at my room unexpectedly one night. The front desk was also helpful with any questions that...

Great place to stay! In the heart of Savannah. Great rooms and rates and terrific staff. Very clean and a nice complimentary breakfast as well as a social hour. We met friends and they told me it was a great choice!

We were disappointed! Carpeting, bed linens, and towels were faded and worn. Dated bathrooms. Musty odor in the lobby and hallways. Lurching elevator. Indifferent front desk staff. This hotel is perfectly serviceable, but for the price, we expected much more. We ended up leaving after the first night and paying just a small amount more for a room at Marshall...

I thank you for your comments but am at a loss. The carpeting has just been replaced ( literally within the past week), the terry is new linen to accent our recent renovation, the bedspreads are cotton white spreads ( not the newer duvet type), the curtains perhaps I might agree with you. Our recent renovation took 2 months and...

We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel staff are very nice and helpful. Rooms are clean and updated. There is a wine social at 5:30 and breakfast each morning. Located in Reynolds Square so close to everything.

Booked one room with 2 twin beds for a long weekend get together with my sister who I rarely see as we live in different parts of the country. When checking in we were told the twin room was not available and we were put in side by side ( not adjoining ) queen rooms at no additional cost. We...

While we certainly appreciate your comments, pleaselet me correct a few misgivings as the staff explained while here. Due to our current renovation, which has since concluded, your room with the 2 twin beds WAS unavailable. We attempted to help our guests out by giving them a complimentary room in close proximity to the other . Unfortunately, we were unable...

We've stayed here several times with excellent service and no issues. Our last stay (early March), our room was on the 4th floor & we were greeted with a very strong paint odor. Bellman said they were reprinting in preparation of Spring. Both my wife & I developed mild headaches which disappeared once we were outside walking to dinner. Sadly,...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
To sleep in the epicenter of the city's beautiful historic district, book some time here, on Reynolds Square. The Planters Inn offers elegant rooms, great service, and a jovial wine and cheese reception where people linger each afternoon. For a view, ask about one of the rooms overlooking Reynolds Square Park. Better yet, step outside the inn and get lost among the azaleas and architecture. Just make it back for your dose of wine and cheese. ... more   less
