The Marshall house is a historic hotel located in the middle of the prime shopping street in the historic district. Everything in this area is walkable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Convenient public garage around the corner. Be aware this is not a modern hotel; rooms are comfortable but not large, the floors and stairs are old and creaky...

The Marshall House is in a perfect location! We parked our car with the valet service and didn't move the car until our departure. We walked all over Savannah. Every member of the staff was friendly and beyond helpful. The room was secluded and quiet. If I had one complaint, the water pressure in the bathroom was very low. We...

The Marshall Hotel, built in the 1850s, is located in historic district in Savana. The hotel has been restored using the original flooring, doors, and woodwork. The rooms are small but beautiful 1800s style. This Hotel is walking distance to many restaurants and museums. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff made our stay a pleasure. This hotel has reasonable rates and we...

The hotel is in a fantastic location, which allows you to walk to many squares, the river, restaurants, bars, and Savannah attractions. The rooms and lobby are beautiful, with fantastic historic paintings and pictures throughout. And the best part - the absolutely wonderful staff - not only the sweetest but the most helpful, too.

Just spent three nights at this beautiful, historic hotel and enjoyed it very much. The entire staff was pleasant, warm and professional. The hotel is well kept and historically interesting. I was particularly impressed by the night manager, Samantha, who was kind, personable and helpful throughout my stay. Because I was not adjusted to eastern time, I spent a bit...

We were thrilled to see The Marshall House was available for our weekend stay! From the moment we walked in the door, the service was impeccable, every corner of the hotel is delightful and charming, and the room was so amazingly comfortable.

Although I will not be staying at the Marshall house, I will be staying at east bay inn I wanted to write a review on a particular lady who I had the pleasure of speaking with here. Her name is Samantha. I had called around to several hotels before reaching her and most of the people just sounded unpleasant and...

We loved the Marshall House because we like travel experiences with a distinctive flavor. First, the location is terrific, on a major retail street and an easy walk to all historic areas and good restaurants. Also, we were kindly upgraded to a king room, which was very nice and comfortable. The one oddball feature--which did not surprise us because we...

Thank you Farmerchic, There's only so much we can do with the size of the bathrooms. Restoration of a 19th century hotel can be a tricky proposition and we have to protect the historic integrity of the rooms. I'm so happy to hear you were pleased otherwise and thankful to know you will be coming back. Hopefully we can earn...

I had a wonderful trip to Savannah and was fortunate enough to stay at The Marshall House for part of my trip. Unfortunately, I was injured on my trip, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. they even helped make my crutches more comfortable (what other hotel manager does that?!). Jackie was...

My sister and two daughters spent several days there, the rooms were charming, staff was awesome and the hotel very charming. I would love to come back and spend a few weeks there. Kind of a downtown area, but, close enough and far enough away from the Riverfront. I've stayed on the Riverfront before, not a good experience, things get...

Hello 773Cherie, I'd have to agree with you in regards to staying on Riverstreet. Watching those enormous ships come in can be fun until the horns go off, always when you are least expecting it. Thank you for being our guest and taking the time to publically recognize us. Happy Travels, Hugh /GM
