Very cute place to stay. Close to everything in downtown Savannah. I wish the bathrooms were bigger but other than that we were very happy with our room and would stay there again! Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I wish they had a bigger selection for breakfast besides doughnuts maybe some fresh fruit.

Stayed h er e overnight to meet with some friends. This motel definitely takes you back to the 60's. Beautiful retro motel that plays 50 and 60's music in the parking lot, retro furniture with a red dial phone. The room is very quaint, clean and comfortable, not a hotel size room, but better. The staff is great, coffee hot...

My best friend and I stayed here for a girls getaway. We felt completely safe. Room is so cute. Completely refurbished motel. The only complaint is that this is a motel with outside entrances, so the street noise can get a little loud but that is not the fault of the hotel.

This hotel was in a good location, right on the outskirts of the historic district. Within walking distance of shopping and restaurants (I highly recommend The Grey and Collins Quarter, both restaurants are a short walk away). The price couldn't be beat compared to other properties in Savannah. the room is basic, but had everything we needed. The sink and...

Overall, the uniqueness of the motel and walking proximity to everything - made our stay very enjoyable. This was my first time with an extended stay in Savannah, and we definitely plan on coming back soon.

Thunderbird Inn is a Retro style motor lodge. Beyond dog friendly, they cater to pets. Special treats include daily RC colas and Moonpies for the owners. Morning coffee and Crispy Cream donuts, good thing we did a lot of dog walking. Can't wait to visit again:)

The bathroom is barely big enough for one, rooms were dirty especially the floors, and very noisy. It's across from the bus depot. The rooms are bare of amneties and the wifi password didn't work. Won't be back.

(1) hair of multiple colors in the tub. (2) AC didn't keep room cool at night — even though it was in 50s and 60s outside. (3) The floor lamps didn't work on a switch; you had to unplug them to turn them off. (4) No power outlets by the beds.

The Thunderbird Inn is a cute retro motel in a superb location. It's within walking distance to many points of interest as well as restaurants. Since this is a roadside motel, the noise level is above average - you can hear all the traffic from the street, which is a main drag, so it's never quiet for too long. The...
