This was such a cute place to stay! I was in love with the retro music and layout. Walking distance from downtown and clean! Loved the moon pies and rc cola! Very cute and Ashley was very friendly and helpful. Our biggest complaint was the noise. The rooms were thin and you could hear everything. My husband and I did...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

Stayed h er e overnight to meet with some friends. This motel definitely takes you back to the 60's. Beautiful retro motel that plays 50 and 60's music in the parking lot, retro furniture with a red dial phone. The room is very quaint, clean and comfortable, not a hotel size room, but better. The staff is great, coffee hot...

On trip home from Charleston, decided to stay in this remodeled old motel in the heart of Savannah. It is clean, with a comfortable bed, great a/c, a refrigerator, and quality tv. We rode our bikes around the city from the motel with ease. 60s-70s music plays constantly in the parking lot (but not too loud), adding to the retro...

I came to Savannah to meet up with my best friend who moved there 7 years ago. I rented a room at The Thunderbird Inn because it looked retro-cool. There's a huge old neon sign out front. You barely see these signs anyplace anymore. Very cool! Check in was easy. Jim was very courteous and made us feel welcome. They...

Can't beat the location price and funkiness of the Thunderbird. This was my third stay and I will be back. It's a basic room but I feel it's good value. I love the character of the rooms, the retro music playing outside and the great location for walking into Savannah and proximity to the Interstate for trip s and going...

Great location. Very fun concept. Loved the doughnuts and coffee for breakfast. It is right across from the transit center so the buses are loud. We did have some late night neighbors that really upset our dogs. Hotel was super pet friendly though. Could not get hot water for my shower in the morning that was pretty upsetting.

This was my 3rd time staying at The Thunderbird Inn. The room was neat and clean and the free RC's and Moonpies were awesome! The staff are always friendly and helpful. If there is a room available, this is the only motel I will stay in while in Savannah!

Had a wonderful experience (our second) arbiter the Thunderbird. Parked the car and didn't move it til we left. We love this walkable city. The only not super thing about Thunderbird are the tiny cramped bathrooms... other than that, total win.

My room was huge. I loved that there was no carpet. The bed was comfortable. Loved the decor. Loved the mini fridge in the room. Loved the RC colas and moon pies and popcorn and Krispy Kreme donuts. My only complaints were with cleanliness. There was a large hair ball on the bathroom floor when I arrived (not my hair)....

My first retro hotel and I absolutely loved it! Many charming features like free popcorn and the design of the room was awesome. Location is also very convenient, at the edge of the city center. You can do basically everything on foot from there. Even though located on a big street, it was surprisingly quiet. Would definitely stay there again!
