This bed and breakfast was such a delight to stay at. We loved the location, it was a nice little walk to river street which allowed us to pass by some shops and restaurants we normally would not have. Our room was the park view, it was great. We also loved the shared outdoor space for guests. The only cons during our trip were: the grits at breakfast. We are southerns and feel bad for northerner whose first experience with grits are at this place. They are way to watery. Also, our bathroom shower had some noticeable mildew in it. These are very minor concerns but should be addressed. Certainly would recommend. Savannah is such a treat!
I enjoyed my stay here. The room was lovely. Quiet even though it was overlooking the street. The back porch was great for socially-distanced eating. Great breakfast and snacks throughout the day. Friendly staff!
We enjoyed our stay at the Inn. The atmosphere is lovely with a beautiful room including private restroom and air conditioning. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast is passable- though a world better than chain hotel breakfast. The tea, milk, and cookies out in the dining room are a sweet touch. The staff gave great recommendations for a trolley tour. Parking is on street but was easy to find.
My husband and I absolutely loved this place! The staff and charming atmosphere in this B&B made us feel very welcome. We stayed in the Parkview room on the top floor, which was cute, cozy, and exactly what we hoped to experience in this gorgeous 1800s home. Even had a tv in our room so my husband could catch the end of a final four bball game that went into OT☺️. The surrounding streets and Chatham Square are beautiful and quaint. It felt like our own neighborhood. 15-20 min walk to the river. Easy. Found a parking spot on the street next to square on Saturday morning. Meters free on weekend. We’re coming back to stay and sending people your way!
My husband and I needed to get away for his birthday and we saw the Innkeeper’s Special for the off season. We decided to take advantage and we were given the Chatham Room. It was on the very top floor so we definitely got our exercise in. Our room was exactly what I would want a Savannah bed and breakfast room to look like. The exposed brick was beautiful, along with some great art, but still having modern amenities. Tim and Laurel were very kind and helpful, answering any questions we had. The breakfast staff were all incredibly kind and did an excellent job cooking and serving. I loved seeing the courtyard kitties. It is street parking but we never had an issue finding a spot. We parked in one place for 48 hours because we planned on walking most of our trip. Probably my favorite part of this inn is location. Being down near the river and seeing all of the loud pedal taverns and more obnoxious tourists, it was wonderful to walk back to a quiet area when the day was done. It is about a 20 minute walk from the river but it goes by fast because there is so much to see on the way. Chatham Square is across the street and it is extremely close to Forsyth Park which was beautiful to walk. If you want a relaxing, quiet getaway in a lovely historical inn, this is the place for you.…
