Normally when we visit Savannah we stay at the Westin but we wanted to try something different this time. The Catherine Ward was a wonderful time with a Southern flair. We stayed in the Contempory Room. Very spacious with an outside balcony to enjoy a glass of wine at night or a cup of coffee/tea in the morning. Our room...

The hotel is a bit of a walk from the center of the historic district but it is priced accordingly. When we encountered extremely noisy neighbors the innkeepers moved us immediately no questions asked. An added bonus was the excellent breakfasts

Great place! Leslie was so nice, breakfast each morning was great -- so filling. Located in a great spot -- convenient to everything we wanted to do. Easy walk to downtown or to the Mansion or Forsythe Park.

We stayed at the Catherine Ward House for four nights in late March. If I compared this B & B to one very similar where we stayed in Charleston, I would admit that the furnishings here were less elegant and the price higher. However, I spent hours researching B & B's in Savannah for the week we were there (peak...

We were surprised at the somewhat seedy location of this inn. Our tiny, dollhouse sized room and bath were beautifully decorated but uncomfortably small. We had to go through a rear entrance off an alley to get to our room and then through the kitchen to get to the dining room. We were not invited into the rest of the...

My husband brought me here for my first Savannah visit; but we perfer B&B's over Hotels. Let's get to the bottom line... The Catherine Ward House is by far our favorite yet; Leslie was so friendly from the first phone call; the happy greeting in person, and the hug good-bye. Our room (The Garden Room), was SO cozy (we picked...

When I first started looking for a place to stay in Savannah I had no idea that they had such a huge celebration and parade for St. Patricks Day. The was NO PLACE anywhere that had a room available. I left a message at the Romantic B & B's website to contact us if anyone had a cancellation. It was...

We stayed at the Catherine Ward House during a cold January weekend. The Sea Trade room embraced us. I called it "the womb room." Decorated in warm, apricot hues with two overstuffed chairs facing a gas fireplace, the room was a true haven. A luxurious bathroom with an oversized tub provided further opportunities for diversion, despite all that Savannah has...

I stayed at the Catherine Ward House Inn by myself and my dog and we stayed in Room 8 (Hibernian) (one of the pet friendly rooms). This room was perfect for my stay and needs and was extremely clean. It is near Forsyth Park where I would walk my dog, but there is also a smaller grassy area next to...

We stayed in the Catherine room on the 2nd floor of the main house, and I can not recommend it enough! We had a wonderful stay! The room was very clean with an updated bathroom and working fireplace. We particularly enjoyed the fireplace on cool nights. It was very quiet at night and the bed was super comfortable. The breakfast...
