What a lovely view and lobby. Rooms are so/so, just a little tired. The staff was very helpful during a planned power outage. Lots of flashlights and precautions taken to keep folks safe and informed during the interruption. Rooms just need to be upgraded.
Stayed two nights early October 2017. Summit Inn is a delightful, somewhat affordable visit to the past of quiet hotels. The location is great for Laurel Hills and all there is to explore there: Flight 93 Memorial, Falling Water, Ohiopyle Park, Somerset, etc.

Cons: Long staircase to lobby entrance, no luggage trolleys, no elevator, highway traffic noise, poor maintenance, mediocre food, no dresser in the room, dangerous exit onto a four lane highway.
