This urban hotel was just what we wanted. Close to the tourist areas without being "too" close. The extra touches were very nice. Delicious pastries, cooked to order breakfast, and great coffee. The room had nice features as well with small pastry treats waiting for you in your room when you return to it. Plenty of towels, spacious bathroom, balcony... More

Quiet oasis yet near to Fells Point and area restaurants and night life. Within walking distance (downhill). Take a cab back. Everything was spotless and well maintained. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. It normally wouldn't matter but the Olympics were on and the TV was very small.

This is one of the nicest B&B's I have ever been to. The innkeeper was gracious and friendly. The room was large, the bed and pillows were like sleeping on a cloud. The breakfast was delicious. I had special dietary requirements that were met and exceeded. I have family in Baltimore and will be staying here whenever we go to... More

My son attended college in Baltimore and each time I visited, wanted to stay here but the Blue Door was booked! Finally had an opportunity to spend a few nights. The inn is in a nice area within walking distance to Patterson Park and convenient to Baltimore sites. The inn and rooms were very clean. The rooms were well appointed... More

We stay at the Blue Door whenever possible when visiting family in Baltimore. The rooms are so clean, spacious, and comfortable, the breakfasts are terrific, and the hospitality is the best! Roger is welcoming, friendly and so informative and helpful during our trips. We have also met the nicest people at the breakfast table!

Stayed one night while visiting Baltimore and loved it. The inn is beautiful. Roger is a wonderful host and I felt right at home. He and his wife have thought of everything - it was a peaceful haven in a location close to JHU.

We loved the Blue Door. It's close to Fell's Point and has easy access to lots of great restaurants and bars. The staff is wonderful and the breakfasts are great. Roger is very knowledgeable about the area and gives great suggestions. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

Stayed one night on our way north to New Hampshire. Walked to and from an O's game, about 2 miles each way. It is near the harbor scene at Fell's Point and 2 blocks from Patterson Park. Stayed in the Hampstead Suite on the 3rd floor. Spacious, cozy, inviting, beautiful and has one of the most comfortable beds I've ever... More

We had such a wonderful time staying at the Blue Door on Baltimore. It is an absolutely beautiful B&B. The inn is so well-kept! Our room was very large, clean and has a lovely balcony that overlooks a quiet ally. The owners provided us with delicious sweets upon our arrival. Since our honeymoon did not immediately follow our wedding day,... More
