It was a real treat to be able to stay at your inn. As soon as we arrived we were made to feel welcomed. The grounds are beautifully serene and well maintained. Everyone in our party young, and young at heart were extremely pleased. Evelyn and her coworker made the stay complete with the heartiest, most tasty breakfast one could... More

Great place to stay in Fort Davis. We really loved this place. Warm and friendly staff. Accessible hands on owner. Comfy bedroom with private bath. Delicious breakfast with lots of options. Enjoyed visit with other guests. Will definitely stay here if we return to Fort Davis. Wish we had planned more time there. Great little town with lots to offer.

recently completed a week long tour of the Big Bend area. Our last stop was Fort Davis. Found this Inn based on reviews on Trip Advisor. Found it to be an excellent choice. Only one half mile out of town, right off the highway. Large clean comfortable accommodations, good breakfasts and wonderful brownies. People were very nice and easy to... More

We had targeted seeing the McDonald Observatory on our recent outing. Needed a place to stay nearby. Ft Davis is close by so we went with this highly recommended B&B and were not disappointed. Very professional. Easy, comfortable and had a great breakfast to start us on our way the following day.

The Sawtooth Ridge room has a low dormer roof and while it's large much of the space is unusable because of the low roof line. We even got a cute warning to watch our head as the roof will surprise you when least expect it and it did several times. The bed was comfortable but the furniture was cheap and... More

It is a very serene and quiet place. We stayed in the Fisher Hill Suite and had a private entry to our rooms. Breakfast was delicious. The grounds and surrounding area is beautiful. It is just outside of town.

After some confusion with Booking.com, we ended up in the Fisher Hill Suite, which was a two bedroom suite with a separate living area. This was absolutely perfect for our travels with our teenage son, and really spoiled us rotten after camping. The house is nicely decorated and clean, beds comfy, the breakfast was wonderful both days, and they really... More

A quaint B and B just off the main road so really quiet. Rooms are nicely decorated only thing that stops this being a 5 star review was the air conditioning which couldn't be controlled so was very cold at times. Breakfast made up for this cooked fresh by Evelyn who was extremely friendly and a great cook. Some of... More

We stayed here at the end of our Big Bend trip and were delighted as to how smooth and comfortable this B & B was for us. The rooms are unique and so well appointed, the house is quiet, and the breakfast was wonderful. Do try out this gem in an area where it's a standout for comfort, rest and... More

Even though the inn was very nice and breakfast was excellent, my whole experience with Davis Mountain Inn was very upsetting. First, as has happened to other travelers, the GPS coordinates took me 25 miles past the Inn. And when I called them to find out how to get there I could not hear most of what the women said... In rural West Texas addresses are sometimes "relative". That is why the true and exact GPS coordinates are listed on our web site direction page www.davismountainsinn.com with maps that can be printed out. Verizon cell is Fort Davis' cell tower and it works fine at the Davis Mountains Inn. We also provide a land line for guests who have non-compatible... More
