Very friendly, clean place to stay, close to all things to see. Great breakfast, nice sitting room with a fabulous view. Conversation was helpful regarding other sightseeing in the area. A must for the area. Close to downtown area. Great night's sleep, comfy beds

The front desk couple were very friendly and the atmosphere was very homey. All the rooms have a light on in the window which gives the Motel a very warm cozy feeling. The rooms were a nice size and comfortable. There is a good restaurant right next door so very convenient for meals. Reasonable price for this time of year....

it is about what you would expect for the price. The room was clean but things were pretty stained. The breakfast was danishes and they might have had coffee but we ate next door at pig n pancake. Not a quiet place but located within walking distance of most downtown stuff including the trolley. No AC but did have a...

We needed somewhere to stay and this place had a vacancy and a better price than some other, so-called alternatives. The room was large and clean, the host was friendly, everything worked. We got what we paid for. The breakfast was basic, even more basic than a Super 8. But again, it did the job. If one chooses to go...

we arrived in Astoria on a Saturday and as we'd been traveling for a while had forgotten what day it was. The town was full of 'no vacancy' signs. Luckily for us we found this place and took the last room. The owners were friendly and helpful with local knowledge. The motel could do with a bit of an upgrade,...

We definitely were NOT happy with this place and only stopped here because we had stayed at one previously. Only after checking in did we realize that there was no AC, and was told "you don't need any here in Oregon" ?? Seriously.... ?? The rooms are very old, the bathroom looks creepy and the flooring is linoleum that is...

This motel is well used. Many layers of paint. The room was clean. The vanity sink was clogged it took several minutes for it to drain. The room did not have an AC but there was a box fan. The WIFI did not function. There was a very strong signal but zero data transmission. I went next door to the...

Called to get rates for this motel. It looks really cute and we have always wanted to stay here. Tonight I had planned to drive out to Astoria and stay at the Lamplighter. Unfortunately the motel office closes at 10PM. What kind of lodging establishment closed at 10pm? Especially in a tourist coastal town.... I was still hours away from...

Went there because years ago our family had stayed ...and they had stew in the lobby and cookies for the kids....it was so pleasant and it was clean. This time, there was no stew or homey touch. Free coffee was about the extent of the amenities. There is no A/C, which means you have to keep your window open....really not...

I stayed at this great motel for about a week and I just loved it! It has everything you need, and it is in a great location in lovely Astoria. The Front Desk is very welcoming and very helpful. The lobby is very pretty and they have a nice little continental breakfast in the morning. I would highly recommend this...
