It was suitable for a one night stay. It has the basic amenities and even some added touch. Bed was comfortable, pillows plush, microwave and refrigerator in the room. Clam Chowder was available, in the lobby, while we were checking in. Continental breakfast available in the morning. Parking is really tight. I worried if I left, would I be able...

This will be our go to place for weekend getaways to Astoria. Great pet friendly accommodations. Rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable with a fun retro decor. Managers are friendly and really helpful.

Being a local gal in Astoria, I can't tell you how fun and exciting it is, to watch the former Lamplighter turn into the cool hip Atomic Motel. The quaint 50's decor takes you back in time with Mr. Frank Sinatra, and Dean Martin ( cut outs) there to greet you! I love how friendly, caring, and welcoming the new...

Stayed here for 3 nights in mid- July. Funky 50s decor. Some updates appear to be still in progress. Close to the shoreline. Surprising and delicious free breakfast pastries available in the morning! Decent for the price :)

This little motel has recently been revamped into a darling 50s theme LOBBY has a beautiful wood floor and comfy chairs and table for morning coffee and donuts and huge bowl of fruit..instant oatmeal even. Room 113 was clean, carpet looks new or recently cleaned, thick white towels in the spotless bathroom. TV, fridge, and microwave too. Bed is comfy...

This motel, I am told was recently known as The Lamplighter. It now has been totally renovated. This includes furniture, bed, and wall decor. It is now decorated in a wonderful 1960's theme. My first treat was to see Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, two wonderful full size cutouts in the the lobby. While I was in the lobby having...

Stopped for the night in Astoria last week and usually target a motel reasonably inexpensive but not the cheapest. I am OK with older properties if well kept and can excuse some issues. The Atomic seems to have been rehabbed a bit and repainted. I informed staff that a couple of the drains were backed up as most folks probably...

The hotel is right off of 101 near the bridge. It's on a busy street, so expect some level of noise. It's named the Atomic, but they have a sign to alert you that it was previously the Lamplighter. The hotel is freshly painted in mid century modern style, and the stylish and fun lobby follows the same style. There's...

NEW NAME! Atomic Inn. Very clean and the rooms appear to have been redone. Reasonably priced and across from the boardwalk with great view of the bridge. SUPER NICE PEOPLE!! Can't beat it for the money. No laundry or pool but a good clean safe place for kids.

Stayed here while visiting Astoria on my way down the 101 this month. The neighborhood (near the bridge and docks) isn't anything too beautiful to look at, but it is very convenient for getting places. It's a classic mid century motel-doors that open to the outside, wooden board vaulted ceilings. The room came with a fridge and a fan, but...
