Our room smelt awful, there were wet spots on the carpet, the mirror in the room was chipped to hell and back. Our fan in the bathroom sounded like we were about to blast off in to outer space. Not to mention its in a Shady area of town and to get to decent food areas to eat you have...

Start with stale cigarette odor when you walk in to you room to the filthy vent fan in the bathroom and mildew on shower curtain. There is no excuse for lack of a cleanliness. Also, ever hear of cooking spray for the waffle maker?

The exterior walkways, stairs, and vending/ice machine areas were filthy and had not been cleaned in a long time. The hotel smelled on the outside like garbage. The bathrooms needs a more through cleaning especially around the edges of the tile floor. The carpet needed a more thorough vacuuming.

I want to like La Quinta's cause I love their commercials. I think they should invest their marketing dollars into their hotels. This one I chose for location only since we flew out of JAX at 0500. The landscaping is beautiful but deceiving. Our room was scary, from the thick layer of black dust on our air vent to the...

We arrived and was checked in quickly. Got to our room and it was clean. It could use a good spring cleaning. There was stuff on the walls. When our air was on it smelt like smoke, only to realize that someone had smoked outside the room where the AC was and put their ashes out in the window seal...

Walkways covered in black chewing gumb or stains. Room smelt of chlorine but comode seat covered in hair and pea drops. As someone said, just like the government projects. Wireless too weak to reach room. Bathroom light won't light. Elevator dirty.

In comparison with most La Quinta Inns this one is not on my recommended list. (And I belong to the La Quinta frequent membership because I usually like this chain) The pool was in need of resurfacing and fresh clean water (the water was a nice shade of green) so, I wouldn't dare go in it. The only nice thing...

If you're looking for a down home feeling and missing that old government housing section eight ambiance, then this is the hood for you. Long term residence is the name of the game here. There are a number of low income families living in this hotel. The front desk concierges have become slum lords. This used to be a good...
