Quick access to the battlefield, great amenities, only downside is the campsites keep you packed in like sardines. Great place overall. I'd recommend getting one of the more secluded camp sites on the back end of the tent area by the creek.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We stayed 6 nights, beginning with a busy weekend but by Sunday evening, there were few sites taken. The staff was very helpful in making recommendations about local sights and things to do. The camping store is very well stocked. There is a hand-dipped Hershey's ice cream shop in the store. We were able...

We tent camped here for one night at primitive campsite 13. It was a great site at the end of a "peninsula" surrounded by a slowly-moving creek. It was quiet and close to the chemical toilet (Porta-Jon) which was very clean did not smell at all. You had to walk 3-4 campsites down to get to the water tap, but...

This was our second stay at Gettysburg Campground. I stayed in an RV with a 14-year-old, a 7-year-old, and a 5-year-old. It was our summer getaway this year, and we didn't plan on doing much other than hanging out, swimming, and relaxing. We stayed for a week and a half, and it was, in fact, a very relaxing trip. Weekends...

A very nice, well run campground, situated close to town and all attractions. We had a full hook up, creek side site for our 34ft. motorhome. Our site was shaded and peaceful and perfect for our Gettysburg vacation. Our kids had a great time feeding the ducks and catching crawfish in the creek. They enjoyed this as much as going...

We stayed in site #47 right up against the creek with water, sewer, and electric. We arrived around 9pm after the office closed but they very kindly left us a map with our name and site number on it as well as written and drawn directions to our site. The security guard on duty helped direct us in. The site...

We just spent a week here. Overall, we had a great experience. Staff was friendly, the grounds were nice. Complaints- the grounds seem to be quite poorly drained. Our site was fine, but there were many sites and the dump station road that were completely flooded. Wifi really didn't do much. The sites are very small and crowded. We have...
