On the recommendation of friends with an RV, we decided to take our pop-up camper to Artillery Ridge for a long weekend in Gettysburg. We stayed for three nights, beginning on a Thursday, and the cost was $165. The employees were friendly at check-in we had no trouble getting to our site (site 38). I was concerned about the conditions...

We stayed at Artillery Ridge in a 40 foot class A and it was very nice. Easy in and out for our big rig towing our CRV. Close go everything in Gettysburg. The office people are friendly and helpful. The park has horses to plan accordingly. The park is older and some things should be updated but otherwise great value.

Nice RV/Campground with easy access to Gettysburg National Historic Battleground, Cemetery, Museum and Visitor Center. We stayed 4 nights, taking one day to drive over to Hershey Park, three to tour Gettysburg. Good pull-thru spot that required very little side-to-side leveling. Our spot was exposed (no shade trees), so a good a/c unit is recommended. There are fully treed sites,...

Wonderful staff, amazing amenities & facilities. We had a great pull-through full hookup, 50 amp site. Convenient to the battlefield and the town of Gettysburg. Great motorcycle riding, too! We will return, even though it's a bit pricey since we don't use the facilities other than parking.

This was a very pleasing surprise for us as we had never stayed at a horse campground before. When we placed our reservations we were sort of last minute for family reasons. The lady told us they had one FHU site by one of the horse corrals. Ok, so what would that be like? How about awesome. I like talking...

This campground is definitely unique! It is a stones throw from the battle grounds and is an eclectic mixture of (at least seemingly) permanent residents, seasonal visitors, and short term campers. It is mostly RVs with a small field for tents and a few random tent sites mixed in with the RVs. We stayed in one of the tent sites...

If you are visiting Gettysburg , PA with your RV, this is a great campground to stay at. It is right in the heart of the Battlefield. Everything is close by and easy to get to. Their rates are more than fair and everything is well kept. Friendly staff and full hookup sites are roomy and comfortable. It is literally...

Very nice campground. Very close to Gettysburg visitor center and convenient to everything. Busy for holiday weekend, but remained nice. They had a living history demo for the anniversary of the Gettysburg battle. This was almost worth a visit by itself. Shady spots, good electric. Wifi iffy at times, but a lot of people using. Some seasonal sites. Highly recommend.

Right in the middle of the battlegrounds! Amazing location and amenities! We were there for the re-enactment weekend and the campground had "Living History" with civil war tents and people in costumes- fantastic! Very nice and quiet, family oriented place. Everything was clean and well cared for. Take the horseback tour while there!

Unruly kids running through our VERY TIGHT campsite. Fireworks being shot off on site, when it is CLEARLY STATED in the "Campground Guidelines" "9. Firearms, Fireworks, Firecrackers or explosives of any kind are forbidden on the campgrounds." When we called the Campground Security, we were told that it was the OWNER who was responsible, and they couldn't tell him to...
