We recently stayed here for a weekend "getaway". Location is fantastic. Everything within walking distance. The room was ADORABLE. Kitchenette, living room area, surprisingly large bedroom. Furniture was clean and comfortable. They leave you muffin/fruit baskets in your room each night and "cookie of the day". Juice and milk carafes in the fridge. We only saw the desk clerk when...

We stayed two nights at the James Getty and had two rooms. The hotel is in the heart of downtown Gettysburg and is an historic hotel. It has been wonderfully updated. Each of our rooms was like a mini apartment. Living room, Kitchette, big bathroom, huge walk in closet and comfy bedroom with a queen size bed. We had my...

Great location. Heart of Gettysburg. Stayed in the suite. Nicely appointed, clean, comfortable, cozy. ALL of the staff were unbelievably welcoming and hospitable! A plus for travelers from other states/countries. Breakfast of in -house made baked goods, brought to your room! Delicious! The only caution - the hotel is next to a restaurant. An alley separates the 2. At night,...

The location of this hotel is great. It is right in the heart of downtown Gettysburg. We were very pleased with our room. It was comfortable, roomy, clean, and had a fully equipped kitchen including a refrigerator stocked with milk, juice and cream. The homemade granola, muffins, and bread provided for breakfast were delicious. The staff was very friendly and...

Hotel is in great location. Staff was great. They left out bananas and cereal with milk for next morning. As well as coffee and tea. Has a small half kitchen. The only bad thing was the walls are so thin and our room was over looking a ally way and below was some tables and the People from restaurant next...

Room was clean and quiet. Lots of space. Dated furnishings but that's the idea... you're in Gettysburg! The owner/staff were very helpful, low key. There is an elevator although hotel is small (3 floors). Great little kitchen and they drop off treats for you for breakfast and after dinner cookies. Only think I would recommend is a TV upgrade and...

Beautiful building with a warm and friendly staff. We stayed in the Majestic Suite and found it to be very clean, warm and inviting. We had a small issue with the satellite and could not get the tv to work even after contacting the innkeeper. Other than this minor problem all else was as promised. They even provided fresh muffins,...

We stayed in the Lord Nelson suite and the Majestic suite during our February mini break. The lord Nelson suite is our favorite we decided. It is in the back of the hotel on the second floor. It has been updated since our last stay with a new headboard, side tables, and microwave. It has a cozy apartment feel. The...

The room was very clean and comfortable and all of the staff were pleasant and helpful. It was located in the heart of downtown and we could visit the shops and restaurants without driving All of the rooms have a small kitchen and living room, since the building was previously used as an apartment building. The building also served as...

I stayed in the Blue Parrot room during Bike-week 2016 This room is on the 4th fl in the front. I had no problem with the noise . The juice , milk, home-made muffins, cookies and fresh fruit every morning was enough to get the day started. The staff was excellent . Free parking in the back . I really...
