My husband recently became ill and was air lifted to the Temple University Hospital. The Conwell Inn is what I called home for the next month. The accommodations were very clean and the entire stay exceeded my expectations. The room was very large and accommodated my children when they visited as well. The bathroom was large and roomy and the...

Words can not express how deeply I was moved by your comment. I know that you were with us under the worst of circumstances, but I'm so glad that we were able to meet you and your family, and that we were able to take care of you while here. The entire time you were here, it was the personal...

What a charming hotel located on the grounds of Temple University. Our room was unique and clean. After entering the room there were 3 steps down to the area with the two beds. There was a seating area in a bay window. The bathroom was very large compared to other hotels we stayed at on this trip. Hotel staff was...

Thank you for your comments! Charming and Unique is what we do best, and I'm glad it paid off and made a difference in your stay! I love our rooms, and I'm glad you did too. It is a blessing to have rooms as large as ours in the middle of a city, and with many of our rooms having...

Stayed at the Inn while on a trip to Independence Hall. Was really glad I stayed there. The area outside of Temple University was a little scary. The Inn literally share a wall/building (?) with campus police so we felt safe. Breakfast was adequate. The computer in reception was helpful as well as the staff. There's a 7-11 around the...

I'm very glad you stayed here too...and even happier that you enjoyed your stay! I'm glad you felt safe when you were here. In our ten year history, we've never experienced a single problem or complaint about safety...something I'm proud to say we regard very highly! We are several minutes from the bulk of the downtown hotels, but I truly...

We stayed at this hotel for one night when visiting the city on our way back to JFK airport. It's a quaint hotel near the Temple University and it felt as though it mainly catered for relatives visiting students at the University. We arrrived on a Sunday and to begin with the place was very tricky to find. Eventually we...

Clean and comfortable. Really inexpensive, compared to center city hotels. Great service, great location, close to just about everything. Convenient for a guy who likes public transit more than cars. Pass on the "continental breakfast". I am not sure what continent those bagels came from, but they were stale enough to make me wonder if they were on a ship...

Stayed at Conwell Inn in April 2012 for 3 nights while attending a conference at the Temple student center. I stayed in the queen suite. The room furnishings were excellent and the bed was comfortable. Due to the style of the building, the room had some odd dimensions that were not as convenient as a mainstream hotel. But, that is...

The rooms are very nicely sized, well appointed and it is a well maintained property. There was a problem which arose and the desk staff made an adjustment that was satisfactory and I was inpressed that the GM...

A true gem in the city. Far exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness and friendliness. We were visiting the campus for Experience Temple day and decided to stay here as opposed to our usual stay at the Marriott. We were greeted with the delicious homemade cookies, and checked in with Gillian. She was very knowledgeable about the university and...

Location location location! That alone gave it 4 stars. We spent 3 days at the Liacouras Center which was about 2 blocks, that you don't even notice, from the Inn. The Inn is well maintained and very clean. Good bed, drapes and plumbing. Excellent staff!!! Don't fret on the mini breakfast offerings. The food trucks and places in a tiny...
