Upon arrival, we went right to the room because we had an electronic key. When we entered the room, there was a note from the hotel manager welcoming us to the hotel, HANDWRITTEN!!!! I really appreciated this note but blown away it was handwritten. Just felt more genuine. The room was warm, clean, and completely modern. I could order everything...

My most recent stay was in early December 2016 but I had stayed there once a couple of years ago. I would go out of my way to stay here again. The service is exceptional and the staff genuinely welcoming. I felt like the favorite niece of a wealthy aunt. I love the atmosphere, the dark wood panelling, the Living...

My organization held a weekend conference at the Inn at Penn. From the bellman who helped us unload two carts of materials, to the desk employees who checked us in, to the housekeeping staff who kept our rooms immaculately clean, to the various waitstaff in Penne (a great Italian restaurant), and finally the event team who handled a weekend jam-packed...

Decent, clean hotel in great location for visiting UPenn (right across street from campus). Nice to have valet parking on rainy December eve. Front desk reception not very professional for friendly. Room spacious and fine, if not a bit sterile and sparse. Fine for our one-night stay, but would not choose for a longer business or leisure trip.

I recently stayed at this hotel for three nights and it was lovely. The hotel went through a recent renovation. I ordered room service for dinner one night and it was delivered quickly. I used the digital key and it worked great. Hotel is very clean. Highly recommended.

Bad attitude and lack of clarity from staff. Also, no hot water. No one seemed to care and when I called them out at corporate I got an "overly pleasent" response. Which made me feel they were being facetious

Every single staff member I interacted with or even passed by was very welcoming and friendly. The location is great if you are doing anything at UPenn or other nearby universities. A short walk across South Street bridge and you are in neat neighborhood of center city.

My husband and I live in Illinois, and recently hosted a rehearsal dinner followed by a cocktail reception at the Inn at Penn. It was a delight to work with Sarah Feldman and John Monteverde as we planned all the details via phone and email. Both events were exactly what I envisioned: ambiance, table settings, menu, excellent food, superior serving...

A completely fabulous experience from check-in to check-out. Every aspect of the stay was superb; staff, room, and dining. Coming from out of town, and needing to be close to the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, we chanced upon this superior hotel. It was, in fact, superior on every level of consideration; staff, room cleanliness and comfort, and dining experience. Would...
