I wish I would’ve read the reviews before I stayed here! The bed spread was dirty and had the nerve to be white! The carpet had dirty spots on it, there’s a foot stool that had a giant spot on it but the worst of all.....the check in clerk had the audacity to give me a room facing some kind of wall or parking garage wall. The smoke detector is hanging off the ceiling ready to drop!!! Trust me....THERES PICTURES!!! Judging by the reviews which I read too late I’ll never stay here again!!!!
We chose this hotel to the close proximity of Temple University Hospital (3.7 mi). Check in was quick, friendly staff. As soon as we entered the 3rd floor, it reeked of marijuana, dirty carpets. The room was not better, and I was immediately turned off. Carpets were stained, and upon closer look at the sheets- also stained. The walls had stains/smudges on several areas as well (room 318). I blame myself for this debacle- trying to save a few dollars. If you are reading this, I hope you believe me, and take my advice. One more thing I noticed, the sheets looked like they weren't made properly- just placed on loosely without tucking in. In my 30 odd years of staying at hotels, this is by far the worst, dirtiest, most disgusting place I have ever stayed in, and at 7am I was running out the door- not even wanting to shower.…
We planned to stay for one night made it half way through the night, before we decided to move to another hotel. The fire alarm went off twice once at 2AM and again at like 4AM , the entire night you could hear a lot of noise. This seems more of a party hotel with people coming and going loudly. Pay the extra money stay elsewhere were you can sleep and relax, this is not the place to get either of those.
My girlfriend and I stayed there for the weekend. Staff was very friendly. Hotel lobby and room are clean. The things that made the stay poor was every night during the stay the fire alarms went off twice from people smoking in their rooms. In addition to the fire alarms going off, the rooms are not sound proof. The walls are very thin. You can hear the people partying in the next room and them roaming the hallways all night. Finally there is no parking for the hotel. I paid $30 per night for parking at the parking lots across the street. I will never stay at this hotel again.
Do not waste your money!! Hotel lobby is beautiful.. Don't let that fool you! Beyond that gross!! Stained carpets, stained sheets, stained blankets, cigarette burns in blankets! Hairs on "clean" towels, coffee in lobby luke warm! Bathroom sink does not drain, not to mention no hot water!! This hotel needs to be condemned!!!! Don't even get me started on the breakfast in a bag!! 1 little granola bar, a "muffin" and a mini apple and juice.. Plus no parking!! You have to park in a dark pay to park which is $27 a night!! Never again!!
