I stayed here because I simply did not want to deal with a shuttle due to the recent bad weather in the area. I used a Chase CC cert which may not be the best use of a cert as there were cheaper paid options available but I just wanted to park in the attached garage walk to the hotel and the next morning walk to the terminal so it was was worth it to us. Arrival - the hotel has a section in the C parking garage but currently the rate appears to be $24/night while the garage parking at PHL appears to be $16/night for parking longer than three days. We parking on level three just one level up from the hotel entrance on level two and there is an elevator but we just took the stairs as we didn't have much luggage. Check-in - Damn you digital key!! Honestly, I have been in tech for all of my career so it isn't like I don't know how to use a phone but I can never get a digital key to work at Marriott. Hilton and Hyatt, no problem. Anyway, the trek to the front desk allowed me to ask about the breakfast options for Titanium members etc. The front desk agent that helped me out was very friendly and seemed to genuinely be trying to be professional and help. Breakfast - you get a grab and go bag that you stop by the front desk for in the morning, pictured. One thing that I found odd is that the only coffee that is available is from the machine in your room. If you are like me and dislike the in-room machines (I find them a bit gross and the quality seems to always suck), then you must go to the gift shop and get Starbucks Coffee at $3 cup, no they don't do room charges either as the gift shop is "separate". The room - I was given a room that overlooked the airport xx13 room number. I thought it was a really good airport view even though we got in relatively late, left early and the weather was not great visibility wise. The condition of the room was your typical dated Marriott Airport property room. I did like that they had a QR code system that allowed you to control the tv from your phone. I did find the shower tiles to be extremely gross. The room as three stars at best. Airport access - You can access the airport directly via a walkway on level 3 of the hotel and love this. I think it took us all of seven minutes to walk over, check-in at AA and get our boarding passes via kiosk. When walking down the corridor to the airport it looked like there was direct access to that corridor from parking garage B so perhaps we would have been better to park there? Particularly for our return? The restaurant - I found it to be busy and with poor covid protocols. When we came down about 7.30'ish the place was pretty fool and only one table available. You can't sit at the bar but apparently you can stand there and talk to other travelers and have drinks? The employees did their best to keep things moving but it was pretty busy and guessing it was more due to weather delays and cancellations as anything. The food was pretty standard bar fare but not bad overall, just not worth the price tag but that is typical at an airport hotel so expected it. The menu is scaled down from what you will find on the web site but it did the job. I am not someone that is always watching the covid protocols like a hawk but the restaurant seemed to fail on this task even by my relatively laxed standards. There was one person in particular that seemed like a manager or some sort of employee that was actually eating at the high top across from the bar but was always directing employees and customers and they did not wear a mask as they traversed the restaurant. Sometimes he would get up and seat people, go to the bar to sort menus etc. It was kind of weird to be honest. The servers seemed to do a good job with covid protocols.

When you live 1.5 hours away from airport a short overnight stay close to that departing airport is a luxury especially when you fly out early! Clean and spacious with a view to the runway of an airport is nice. Coffee maker is also here which is a plus for those who need a Java before getting out of bed

We stayed at the Airport Marriott for one night on our way to the Dominican Republic. The location cannot be beat. You literally walk through a hallway to enter the airport. Parking for a fee is also available and connected. Front desk people were very accommodating given the covid restrictions. Two days prior, all dine-in was banned in Philadelphia. But, the front desk had plenty of order-in options and were very helpful. The room itself was large, bed comfortable, and the coffee in the room was good. The shower had plenty of hot water and pressure was okay. The only drawback was that the bathroom mirror was too low so my husband had to get on his knees to shave. In all, this is a great option when you have an early flight.

I stayed at this property the night before an early flight. With the easy access to the airport terminal, the decision was a no brainer. The hotel staff were all pleasant, friendly and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable. I asked for a few extra items, which were quickly delivered. When I am in Philly again with an early flight I will likely stay at this property if the price is right.

We had an overnight in PHL on our way to Aruba. Upon arriving from St. Louis, we had a short walk to terminal B, which is where we exited the airport and WALKED to Philadelphia Airport Marriott. The airport has signs throughout the terminals guiding you to the hotel. Upon entry into hotel, more signs were easily visible to allow us to locate the front desk with out any time delay. Our room was ready upon arrival and even upgraded us to an airport view (per our request)! After settling in the clean room - we went to the Aviator Restaurant for a nice sandwich, homemade chips and beverages. Friendly staff and social distancing and cleanliness abound! Delicious food at a reasonable cost! Room and bathroom was extremely clean and well lighted. Mattress and pillows were very comfortable and room temp was great too! After a wonderful nights sleep we showered and walked back to TSA @ terminal B and then was nicely directed to terminal A for our departing flight! Easy walk, great stay, tasty food and a safe good night of sleep. We are definitely wanting to take the same flights next year....based on our positive experience with PHL Airport Marriott...well done by all!
