Friendly and helpful hosts, comfortable bed, room a little dated but clean spacious and more than adequate, with fridge microwave, etc. Continental Buffet breakfast is basic but perfectly fine. A convenient stopping point for Tioga Pass Yosemite entrance.

We stayed here for two nights in June, we chose it for its location and price. The Lodge is a little tired although the room was spacious and the bed comfortable, the breakfast was a bit of non event for us, we ate across the road. When we visited there was plenty of parking but I guess this may be...

Thank you for taking time to comment. We are glad you found us. For the benefit of other reading, the Sierra Lodge does not provide a full hot breakfast but a “continental” breakfast. It includes a variety of 3 different types of; bagels, instant oatmeal, pastries, apples oranges and bananas, coffee tea and orange juice and bread and English muffins...

We stayed here for a night on our way to Yosemite. Overall the stay was okay but not as nice as I had hoped. Appearance and cleanliness are the biggest things for me when it comes to hotels and this one wasn't as nice as hoped. It seemed pretty dated, with some wear and tear. The bathroom was a bit...

We have stayed here the past few years while visiting Yosemite. The staff, especially mark and Russell, are always super helpful and friendly. It is an older hotel, the breakfast is basic but that is all we need and it perfectly fits the bill. The rooms are a very nice size. Plenty of room for all your hiking gear etc....

I was booked in to this hotel for two days after our visit to Yosemite. The day we were there it snowed in the upper elevations and they closed Tioga Pass and had everyone exit the south entrance. When I called the hotel to find another route we found out there was not one that would not involve many more...

Reasonable accommodation in the room. The furniture, carpet and bed are relatively worn out. The breakfast selection was average. My husband and I found this accommodation is rated average. We may look at other lodging choices next time if we visit this area again.

We were driving through and thought we'd check out Mammoth Lakes. We booked the Sierra Lodge and thought would be comfortable. Maybe after a day of skiing-but not worth the price to just sleep. The breakfast was cereal, bags of bagels, and gas station donuts. The carpet felt damp, and just outside the bathroom door were huge bumps in the...

Thank you for taking time to comment. I am sorry your stay did not meet your expectations. Sierra Lodge serves “continental” breakfast, not a full breakfast. The room was large and the beds were comfy. The breakfast was basic but adequate, the coffee was strong and in mugs :-) no coffee in the room but for one night not an issue. The reception staff were indifferent, neither happy to see you arrive or go. Can't fault the location, yes the hotel has a dated feel to...

There was plenty of space in the room and it was clean. Breakfast was a self-service in a little living room with coffee, tea, juice, cereals and toast. There is a covered car park next to the reception. The hotel is old-fashioned but it was comfortable and quiet.
