So the staff that work here are AWESOME. From the folks at the Front Desk (Jackie and Cade) to the Valet (Ryan), all are super nice and helpful. Me and my two kids showed up on Thxgvg day and our reservations was messed up (we booked a 2 queen room but it showed up as a single somehow). As my... More

I came here on a large school trip. The rooms were outstanding three stories, extremely close to the slopes and ski rental and a kitchen with amazing food just opposite. It's just a small drive away from a little shopping place and close to a bowling alley and a town centre too. The place has a lot of space and... More

If your expectations for reasonably acceptable amenities and service are low but your demand for being walking distance from blue and black ski runs is high then Mammoth Mountain Resort is fine. This "resort" was considered nice a few decades ago but has digressed into a . . . lets say, "rustic and classic" venue. The property is okay but... More

We enjoyed staying in the side chalet looking at the mountain. We met friends from Southern California since we were from Northern California and spent a wonderful weekend enjoying the bikers on the mountain. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. Our chalet was very nice with a completely stocked kitchen, with Voss bottled water and the manager Heidi Wilson... More

We spent an overnight here prior to visiting Yosemite National Park on a Western Discovery tour. The place is really designed for skiers but provided a reasonably comfortable one-night stay. The hotel appeared under-staffed and not ready for the couple of coaches that arrived within an hour or so of each other. We were warned that if we wanted a... More

We stayed for 2 nights the overall experience was good but the room could do with a refresh. The location itself was breathtaking literally due to the elevation. Beautiful views the gondola ride is a must, we decided to walk down the mountain to the twin lakes area long walk but worth it, overall 10k back to the inn. free... More

No snow when we visited but easy to imagine it in mid winter. We ate in the restaurant with a lovely view of the ski slopes on the facing mountain. Service was a little slow but 3 coaches arriving within a few minutes probably had an effect. Food was good but my sizzler steak was on a cold sizzler plate.... More

I loved staying here! I stayed on the 1st floor and loved my view of the mountain! My room was perfect for me, with coffee and a fridge! I practiced yoga in the fitness room. The general store had all the snacks I could want. There is also a laundry room where I met Lucy, the evening Housekeeping Manager who... More

We only stopped for a one night stay en route from Las Vegas to San Francisco so it was not an extended stay. This is definitely a ski resort for 9 months of the year so being the óff' 3 months it was very quiet. Similar to a previous reviewer we were a little surprised to find ourselves located away... I was traveling up the 395 North and was having a hard time finding a place to stay for a night. The Mammoth Lakes area has limited hotels and housing, comparatively, last minute. Our stay at Mammoth Mountain Inn was such a find and fantastic! The lounge feels cozy, like a log cabin and the rooms are clean and comfortable.... More
