My daughter and I stayed here one night on our way to Cumberland Island. It was perfect. When we got there it was a little cool and windy outside. We checked in ( the Lombard room is perfect) and ate lunch on the porch which was just off our upstairs room. It was very nice up there. Out of the...

What an interesting place! The Goodbread Inn a a number of suites; we had the Rhett and Scarlett - decorated many portraits, photos, and other memorabilia from Gone with the Wind. As you might imagine, all the furnishings were scarlet. The rest of the house, much like most B&Bs, was filled with all kinds of interesting furniture. A great breakfast...

We had the Lancelot and Guinivere suite which was upstairs and had access to the lovely veranda. The breakfast was great and the hospitality could not have been more wonderful. What a lovely time of year to be here with all of the lights.

We very much enjoyed being a bit off the bridge as yon path at St Mary's. The inn is great fun. The staff give you a real sense of a old-time Southern welcome. It is only a block away from some restaurants and the boat to the national park

If you are looking for a gourmet taste of the south, you need to stay at this bed and breakfast where pumpkin spice pancakes and caramel apples are standard fare! Rooms were adorable and our hostess was super welcoming.

We always stay at the Goodbread House for the GA/FL football game and we never want to leave! Marja is an amazing host! Rooms are wonderfully appointed, breakfast is wonderful each morning, and she makes all plans for our side trips to Cumberland and other area activities. We highly recommend a trip to the darling town of St. Mary's and...

Beautiful decor downstairs, nice location and nice hostesses. The bedroom (Gable & Lombard) needs some updating and the oversized bathroom was the best part. Overall, the house feels like a cross between a dorm and staying at your great aunts house. We didn't eat breakfast there so I can't comment on that but my boyfriend said the homemade cookies were...

The Goodbread Inn BnB and old St. Mary's just allows you to slow down and step away from the hustle of modern pressures. The accommodations were very comfortable and the breakfasts, exquisite -- among the best we've had at a BnB. The owner / hostess, Mardja, accommodated us in every possible way -- from arranging our visit to Cumberland Island...

Couldnt have been nicer. Perfect room that people of a certain age will appreciate. Liked having the apples and drinking wine after dinner with the owner's friends before turning in. I am already planning my return trip.

Nice B&B located very close to the water, walking distance to the Cumberland Island ferry. Each room has a theme relating to a famous couple. A bit tacky but a cute idea nonetheless. The rooms could use some updating and dusting. Corners, baseboards and blinds were very dusty. Breakfast was delicious and conversations with the other guests were very nice....
