My husband and I stayed here in January 2017. One night was enough for us. We stayed in a large room with a huge stained glass window, ensuite bathroom, small sitting area. The Inn Keeper was kind enough to let us in for our late arrival. This church-turned-inn is a fascinating bit of history with a bit of whimsy, however,...

My husband took me here as a surprise as part of his birthday weekend. The Inn keepers are absolutely wonderful and so hospitable. The blueberry pancakes were some of the best I've ever had. The rooms was so warm and cozy. We would love to come back again and plan to!

We love staying in B&B's and Inns so we jumped at the chance of staying in one that was formerly a church. Located on Main street just a short few blocks from downtown Ventura it is ideally suited to people that like to walk to dinner and shopping. We were celebrating our anniversary and Nona personally baked us a special...

We booked a room in Victorian Rose on a Thanksgiving morning to come and stay there that same night. Nona (the owner and our hostess) was extremely nice and polite, and very accommodating. We came in at night and it seemed like we were the only people in the building. Now then, this place was built in 1881 and used...

This is a 100+ year old church that has been converted to a quaint B&B. There are 5 unique rooms nicely decorated in different vintage themes. The main room was where the congregation once sat during church services. It now serves as the breakfast dining area and sitting area. The front 2 rooms face the street and tend to be...

This place is walking distance to restaurants and downtown. Room was pretty and comfortable. Breakfast was great. The host was sick at the time so not too much interaction with her. Overall it was a great place to stay.

This place is entirely worn out. I contemplated taking a photo of the balcony patio so you can see the dead plants and broken stuff up there. Good thing my boyfriend and I have a sense of humor - sure, it's interesting that this was a church, but it really is not a nice place to stay. Sorry, Nona.

A very nice room with comfortable bed. Patio off of bedroom (shared with two other rooms). The building is old (a former church) and could use some TLC but the rooms are clean and quiet. Breakfast was great. Nona is a fantastic cook. Met the most interesting people during our stay.

We have stayed in many B&B, but never one in a converted church! What a unique idea and fun experience! The rooms have lots of space, lots of charming, antique furniture with lots of dressers for your clothes. The breakfast table was beautifully set, and in what would have been the main part of the church. The food was not...

My Husband and I visited for long weekend trip for my birthday. we stayed in the "Wisteria Gardens" room which is the smallest of the 5 and has private bathroom separate from the actual room. It sounds strange to have you bathroom not be in your room but it actually was fine. There was only one other couple staying there...

“Not all of the bedrooms have a bath in the room so you will want to be aware of that when making your reservation. We chose the Fleur de Leis which had a great shower and tub. We also liked the location. We will definitely choose the same room when we return.”
