I spent 7 days in this wonderful hotel, the room was very comfortable and very clean. The structure is not new and shows the signs...but it is clean and very cosy, the staff is very friendly, from the check-in counter to the cleaning service. I will surely come again, the position is strategic and you can reach all the highlights...

Stayed here January 8, 2017 through January 12, 2017, as a couple. I wanted to like this hotel, I really did! With it's rich history, and my love for buildings with charm and character, I had high hopes for our stay at the Roosevelt.  Upon entering the hotel, I was definitely taken by the grandeur of the lobby.  It was...

Great hotel; nice amenities, awesome location, service was very good and the decor was fabulous. Nice lounge area to hang out and enjoy the ambiance. Fitness facility was small but enough to keep busy. Front desk and bell service was very good.

Stayed for 2 nights. First impressions of the hotel lobby are great but it really ends there. Had a Superior room which was tiny, no room to move about. The bathroom was even smaller!! No coffee machine. Noisy old heating. The elevators are a joke. Only a couple work and are so slow. Nowhere to get a coffee before 6.30....

We stayed one night to attend a play and were very satisfied overall. We wanted an older NY hotel and were rewarded nicely. Great bar, excellent breakfast and an easy walk to almost everything. Staff was friendly and helpful, even arranging an outside birthday present delivery for my wife discreetly with no fuss. Room was spacious (a suite) and plenty...

The best things about this hotel are its location (directly in Midtown) and the lobby, which is truly beautiful. We booked a room here because we were only staying two nights as we passed through NYC. The front desk staff was abrupt, and were not interested in helping or clarifying when I came with a question later. The room itself...

Please do not be fooled by the photos of the lobby. This hotel and its staff are a disaster. Upon check in the only thing the women agent (no nametag so no idea who it was) said "credit card" and that's it for our whole interaction. No verification of photo identification nothing. Off I was to my room. While very...

The hotel is a great bargain for the money and the location. Walking distance to Times Square and to lots of great restaurants. Not fancy, but has everything you need for a visit to NY. My wife is very picky and she enjoyed the stay with the kids.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
