This was my 3rd stay at this hotel and our 2nd stay for NYE. We arrived on Sunday and stayed through Thursday. Our stay was perfect!! Beautiful suite - spacious with separate living room with bar, nice amenities and an excellent view from the 11th floor. I have yet to be disappointed. I have already booked another stay for a...

We stayed in the Metro for a week before Christmas. On the plus side. The hotel has a great location for exploring NY and shopping. The room was a decent size and well looked after, clean and comfortable. We asked for a room high up and got one on the seventh floor. Quiet and warm. Nice bottle of something fizzy...

We spent 4 nights here the beginning of October. Somehow wound up on the Penthouse level. There is a rooftop bar here, with pricey drinks that you don't have to buy. Come a bit later, BYOB, and enjoy the view of the Empire State Building right in your face. Nice breakfast in a retro library type setting. Very helpful desk...

We stayed here for 3 nights with friends we had two double rooms on the 10th floor, they were well presented and had everything you need for a city break. The hotel itself had everything you need, the breakfast was great and the 24hour coffee/tea facilities was handy. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a central location in...

My husband and I stayed here with our 7-year-old son for three nights in early January. We all liked this hotel very much. It's got great style (art deco), it's clean, and the room we had was relatively large and comfortable. When we arrived, our son was thrilled to see their Christmas tree still up and it was beautiful! We...

This was our second stay at the Metro and while we found the reception staff not quite as welcoming as our first stay, the location of the hotel makes up for most of the failings. Our room was a little on the small side (I expected an upgrade as before) but I imagine that so close to Christmas, the hotel...

Going to NY? Book this hotel now... Look no further. From feel to location, staff to cleanliness and breakfast to room size. My partner and i could not find fault in this hotel. From the doorman (Mathew), onto the reception staff and even the cleaners had a good attitude, which is hard to come by in NY!! The room was...

We stayed at the Hotel Metro in October, have stayed there before and the Hotel is just a great place to stay. Extremely close to the Subway and Macy's just across the road. Room we had was spacious which is great as a lot of New York hotels make you feel quite boxed in. Staff, as always very friendly and...

Just spent five lovely days at hotel metro and we were over the moon with such a great hotel. We chose it for its great reviews, great location and for its friendliness. We had four nights with our eight year old daughter. From the moment we arrived the staff were so helpful. We were upgraded to an extremely large room...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
