I travel frequently for business and always love staying at the Fitzpatrick. It's cozy and more of a boutique hotel. I don't feel like a number when I stay. Rooms are comfortable and you can't beat their complimentary breakfast. I've had delicious Irish oatmeal and pastries for breakfast. Also, when I check-in they've provided me a complimentary cocktail at their...

My wife, myself and our 6 month old daughter stayed here for a quick three night visit. I was really looking to stay in the upper west side, as I heard it is more family friendly. I will tell you that the Fitzpatrick exceeded our expectations, especially for their service. Our room had a nice view, was quiet (even in...

This was a perfectly fine hotel, and the location and price were terrific. The staff is indeed wonderful, and it's a very cheery lobby and comfortable enough hotel. As with most NYC hotels, unless you pay an extremely high room rate, you are not going to get luxurious rooms. I regretfully admit to being a bit disappointed when I opened...

I asked for a quiet room and received one on the 3rd fl opposite a loading dock that starts operating at 4am. Room design hasn't been updated since the 80s, old AC, fuzzy TV, expensive internet - and very expensive for what you get. I left two days early.

Stayed here in august with my boyfriend and we both loved it!! when first checking in our booking was wrong and room not ready but this was all made ok by the manner in which the receptionist dealt with it as we were given vouchers. Our room was lovely with all facilities needed. Breakfast was a little expensive but nice. Their...

Wow! We had the most amazing stay here in August! This is not the plushest, most expensive hotel in New York but if you want comfortable and quiet rooms, with excellent service at an affordable price, this is the place to go! The staff were helpful from the moment we walked in, with advice on where to stay and enough...

Awesome staff, who truly care about the quality of your stay. Room was spacious and clean, as well as comfortable. Excellent neighborhood, felt very safe there! I cannot wait to go back! The combination of safety, quality of staff and loveliness of rooms make it a best kept secret!

Small rooms, no gym facilities, expensive, poor breakfast. Well all ingredient that can jeopardise a journey in Manhattan. It is worth doing a better search if you want to have an impeccable stay in the big apple

Went to New York for my 30th with my partner and loved staying here. On arrival we had been bumped up to a penthouse suite. It was fab our own private little rooftop terrace, Some sparkling wine and chocolate covered strawberries. The staff are so friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. Clean room and bathroom. The food in the...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
