I loved our stay at the NYLO! I have stayed at a couple chains before but this was my first venture into a boutique hotel stay and loved every minute of it. I must start off by saying that this was by far the most QUIET hotel I have ever stayed at in NYC! I lived in NYC for years...

I stayed at the hotel on 03/24 and 3/25. The hotel has many good points and some minuses as well. First the downside. Rooms are very small. As in really really small. My room needed a fresh coat of paint as there were skid marks across some of the walls. The bathroom, glass, shower door had a large crack in...

Family of five Double queen room had plenty of space with two queen beds and a pull out couch… originally on lower floor but switched. Ask for a higher floor room with windows that look out onto Broadway! The lobby and bar scene was cozy but lively and fun and my three teenage boys loved the chessboard and the atmosphere....

I have never written a review before, but I feel compelled to rave about the wonderful treatment I have received during my stay. A shout out to Jennifer, Vivek, Joana, Jessie, Jelani, Edwardo, Tasha and Ramona! Your kindness and welcoming made the circumstances which brought me to N.Y easier to manage. The room was very sheltered and quiet, which meant...

Definitely recommend this hotel. The room (we had a Queen Double) was surprisingly spacious. I was traveling w/o my family-- but we would have comfortably fit my family of 5 in this room with floor space for my children to play. The decor is very current and the lobby is warm and inviting. I would stay here again for sure....

Assigned a room with diaper smell and bad stuff in toilet. Hotel not at all speedy in attending to our request to check it out. Ended up changing room to much less desirable size and overall ambiance.

From the entrance and beyond, the hotel was clean, warm, & inviting. The staff was very friendly, but not in a robotic way. My husband & I enjoyed the quality & cleanliness of the room & it's furnishings. We will be back!

Nice property. Clean, well maintained. Rooms a bit small and bed takes up far too much space. Metal bathroom fixtures give it a "prison aesthetic" I don't like. Lobby library sitting area is nice and staff is helpful

Trendy and nice boutique hotel on the upper west side with nice bar and lounge. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The check-in process was excellent and the hotel gives out a voucher for a free at the hotel bar. The bar tender Anna was courteous and pleasant to chat with. Highly recommend the hotel. Reasonably priced.

Hotel is very nice. When you check in sometimes they are not so helpful and not nice and not accommodating. But Romona at check-in was excellent! Romona was accommodating and very nice and makes you feel welcome. The door men are also very good. Location is really the best for me and my family. Upper west side is very good...

“I stayed in room 1221, which had no view but it had a great cocooned feeling and a spacious layout.”
of 5 bubbles sbukspan, 28 Mar 2017 | Read review
“They advertised room we stayed in to have a panoramic view of the city and the Hudson River. We stayed in room 1408 and it had a very limited view of the Huddon and no view of the city. We mostly looked at the buildings across the street. When we complained about this, front desk staff was less then helpful just stating "nothing else available". Got the impression that it was just too bad we did not like our room. Also, because we were on the 14th floor, we had floor to ceiling windows with a balcony. There was snow on the balcony and when the heavy drapes were open that side of the room was cold even with the heat on. Would probably not stay in this hotel again. ”
