We attended Toy Fair over the weekend of 2/18/17 and, again, stayed at the Travel Inn. This is an older but very well kept hotel which sports its own indoor parking facility. The staff, as usual, was fantastic.

Stayed here for 4 nights with my two daughters. Booked a double double room which was plenty big enough for the 3 of us. Room clean and looked like it had undergone a recent refurbishment as everything modern with little wear and tear. Had a...More
Good value hotel in a fab location only minutes away from Times Square. Hotel decor is a little dated & rooms could do with a refresh but fine for just sleeping in. Would stay again if I was on a budget.
When my group organizer said they'd found a hotel in midtown New York for less than $150 a night, I was filled with dread. I'd lived in Manhattan for over 3 years and expected the worst. What I found at the Travel Hotel was an...More
I stayed for one night. Parking on premises. Diner next door. Large king bed, clean, comfortable, nice pillow selection, big closet, great desk and chair, no reading light or coffee maker, shower hot and hair blower. Nice view of pool.

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

We don't have any homeless people staying in the hotel. We have two buildings. One of these buildings is housing single women with children while they await there permanent housing apartments provided by the city. These individuals are not homeless, they are simply in transition from one apartment to another. All of our guests are occupying rooms located adjacent to this building. If you are still uncomfortable with this, please feel free to contact property directly or your booking agent to modify your reservation. We will be happy to refund anything you have paid. We hope you will choose to stay with us in the fall.
