Stayed at this hotel for the Barbra Streisand concert. We had already spent a lot of money on the tickets, and needed an affordable clean hotel. This definitely fit the bill. We had a room facing the back, off the pool. No street noise etc....More
Let me say first, that I was sooooo afraid to stay here, even with all the good reviews, because I know NYC pretty well, and I was very afraid of the location and not very impressed with the pics. However, the price was right for...More
We stayed at the Travel Inn as we were in New York for the marathon. Its location is excellent, handy for Times Square, bus station etc. There are loads of good restaurants and diners within a short walk of the Hotel. The rooms were spotlessly...More
Location was excellent within walking distance to downtown. Walked from Madison Square Gardens past Macey. Another day to theatre, Times Square. Our room overlooked the cop shop across the street which was OK not noisy. Day staff friendlier than night staff. Didn't enjoy the Theatre...More

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

We don't have any homeless people staying in the hotel. We have two buildings. One of these buildings is housing single women with children while they await there permanent housing apartments provided by the city. These individuals are not homeless, they are simply in transition from one apartment to another. All of our guests are occupying rooms located adjacent to this building. If you are still uncomfortable with this, please feel free to contact property directly or your booking agent to modify your reservation. We will be happy to refund anything you have paid. We hope you will choose to stay with us in the fall.
