It was quite expensive in line with all other New York hotels.
The room was very, very noisy, with the lifts wirring away next door and the open "motel" style corridors outside. This of course lets in all the noise from traffic/outside too!.
I took my girlfriend on a surprise trip to New York for her birthday, from the UK. I was quite worried about booking hotels on a budget - with only descriptions on Expedia to go on. Luckily however I found TripAdvisor.com and based on the...More
Stayed at this hotel for three nights in November. As you will find out, hotels are expensive in New York. I chose the travel inn as a alternative to the high priced branded hotels and found it a nice place to stay. I will say...More
My wife and I stayed overnight from 1-14 to 1-15. The room was very clean and a pretty good size. It was a close walk to Times Square. Take the double decker loop bus, 49.00 for a 48 hour on and off pass. You can...More

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

We don't have any homeless people staying in the hotel. We have two buildings. One of these buildings is housing single women with children while they await there permanent housing apartments provided by the city. These individuals are not homeless, they are simply in transition from one apartment to another. All of our guests are occupying rooms located adjacent to this building. If you are still uncomfortable with this, please feel free to contact property directly or your booking agent to modify your reservation. We will be happy to refund anything you have paid. We hope you will choose to stay with us in the fall.
