This hotel was great - we booked it after looking at reviews on trip advisor. We stayed for 3 nights and the room was smart and clean throughout. The reception staff were OK and we made use of the safebox facility they had.
My partner and I have just returned from a 5 day trip to NYC. We booked with TravelScope which were absolutely superb. We were originally set to be staying in the SkyLine Hotel up on 47th but due to refurbishment were placed in the Travel...More
It was quite expensive in line with all other New York hotels.
The room was very, very noisy, with the lifts wirring away next door and the open "motel" style corridors outside. This of course lets in all the noise from traffic/outside too!.

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

We don't have any homeless people staying in the hotel. We have two buildings. One of these buildings is housing single women with children while they await there permanent housing apartments provided by the city. These individuals are not homeless, they are simply in transition from one apartment to another. All of our guests are occupying rooms located adjacent to this building. If you are still uncomfortable with this, please feel free to contact property directly or your booking agent to modify your reservation. We will be happy to refund anything you have paid. We hope you will choose to stay with us in the fall.
