This hotel is a landmark in its own right. I have stayed at the Waldorf many times and my experience is almost always the same - the beds are comfortable, rooms usually a decent size - but it just feels so dated. The shower is always difficult to adjust and get the proper tempature. Staff are great and the location...

If you want to experience the ultimate in Luxury, this is the place. I highly recommend staying at the Waldorf Astoria, New York. This hotel is a Legend in Manhattan and residences to the affluent. When you reserve your suite request for the top floor luxury room. I stay her every December and look forward to my return.

I stay at the Waldorf often - convenient for work but most importantly a great hotel in a wonderful mid-town location with a very kind staff. From making my room arrangements with Victoria at the front desk to the bellmen and the maid staff they are great. Can't wait to visit again.

The public spaces of the Waldorf are gorgeous but our room was in bad shape. For the prices they charge I expected so much more. It was more like the Motel 8. The room was clean except for the mold around the window. The wallpaper was peeling, holes in the walls where there were once curtain rods. Broken door knob...

Dear Elizabeth, I appreciate your patronage and you taking the time to leave us your review on TripAdvisor. We visited the WA New York in Dec 2014, arriving on 28th Dec and staying over for new year up to Jan 2nd when we flew back home to Derby UK. Starting on the positives, the WA is in a great location, literally just behind Grand Central Station, 5 minutes’ walk from Rockefeller Centre where, by the way, the view...

Dear TripAdvisor, I think I have already reviewed this one! There is simply nowhere better to stay. The location is everything. Eating, especially breakfast and Sunday Brunch is however a wallet killer. Go out the back door and cross the road to Duane Reade, get some Greek yoghurt, croissants and coffee (it could take you 7 days to figure out...

The location of the Waldorf is great, you can walk to Theather District, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Central Park. Service is good but the rooms need to be updated. Doors under the sink were literally falling apart. For an expensive hotel like this you'd expect some nice details in your room, like complimentary slippers, Housekeeping did not do a great...

I stayed here this past weekend with my brother. We were going to stay at the W but we were able to get the Waldorf for the same price. This history of this hotel is second only to the Plaza. Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
