Disappointing.........it is all coming down so no-one cares. Our suite was so disappointing, wallpaper peeling from the walls, interior doors with no lock mechanism, stained carpet. Breakfast was a delight. Staff were pretty hopeless......all moving on. They still charged the big bucks, but the hotel...More
It was an amazing stay in Waldorf Astoria Hotel. An amazing historical hotel with high ceilings, pieces of Art, astonishing ancient clock in the middle of the reception area. We were able to see foreign visitors entering the hotel lobby only to have photos. Everybody...More
Visited in May 2016 and except for the lovely lobby we were disappointed with the rooms. They were aged and viably in need of a renovation. The hotel's greatest asset is its location. You are pretty much in the heart of NY and only a...More

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
